Dressed in a slick leather jacket and armed with a back-pocket bottle of Jack Daniels, executive producer and creator of the hit cartoon Family Guy, Seth MacFarlane brought the house down last night during his talk at Memorial Auditorium.
Speaking in front of a packed crowd of students and community members one of whom pointed out that MacFarlanes sister used to baby sit her years ago in Connecticut MacFarlane touched on his shows recent rivalry with Comedy Centrals "South Park," as well as his ongoing battle with government and network censors...

Working on, working on that for quite some time? Huh? (voice getting higher pitched) Yea, talking about that 3 years ago. Been working on that the whole time? Nice little narrative? I read that too. That can't be right. Must be a typo.
No, I think that's right. If I'm not mistaken, South Park is the only cartoon that can get an episode out in a few days as opposed to several months because they're the only ones that do their animation in house. Plus Matt and Trey use some pretty powerful computer software to do it.
I know that I've heard that it takes about nine months to do an episode of The Simpsons.
POW, right in the kisser. POW, right in the kisser. POW, right in the kisser. POW, right in the kisser. POW, right in the kisser. POW, right in the kisser. POW, right in the kisser. POW, right in the kisser.
Pretty clever stuff.
Yep, just like the time I was playing darts with Muhammand, prophet of the Muslim faith (start flashback).
He's either a giant douche or a turd sandwich.
So, how did you rate SP's takoff? (I'll be the Captain. You be Tennile.)
I don't think it's an FCC persecution complex, most of the time I've heard Seth complain about being censored it's the Fox censors. And South Park is on cable, still immune from the FCC for now.
The ASSU Speakers Bureau continues its series next Monday with Palestinian democratic activist Dr. Mustafa Barghouti, and Wednesday with former U.S. Senator and vice presidential candidate John Edwards. Both events will take place at 7:30 p.m. in Kresge Auditorium on their respective dates.
Nah, he doesn't look a thing like John Edward.

"I geshmoigetty her geflaivaty with my googus."
I think what you quoted is easily the funniest moment in Family Guy history, especially when taken in whole with the callback to it several episodes later.
Even after reading this crap I find I simply can't hate that stupid show anymore than I already do.
Out.
Yeah, but Family Guy would never make fun of Scientologists!
OF course...
Wheres my money man! Wheres my money!
I like South Park and Family Guy... Each has a schtick I find amusing!
