At least I've still got in-car radio.
He thinks his brakes are going away.
The fact that it says "Medical Volunteers Needed" several times on the webpage says something, you know? LOL!
I would not want to be the medical volunteer working that party...
Whoohoo we gots rain, yessss.
He killed your phone? Wow, he's lucky you didn't kill him.
He's said he'll pay if I have to replace it.
It ain't gonna be pretty. It's out of warranty by about a week (grrr!), and the cheapest replacement (since I'm not due to a replacement yet under the contract) is a hundred and ten bucks. I dunno for sure that that'll be the fee, but...most likely I'll get charged full price for a phone.
Grr, he'd better pay! Though maybe they'll be able to fix it... what's wrong with it?
First the screen was all corrupted and it kept saying the battery was charging - among other things. Just flashing all kinds of stuff. Then it vibrated for about ten minutes and died completely. Won't turn on, won't recognize that it's plugged in - nothing.
And I can't call them from another phone 'cause all the numbers are (were) stored on it.
Guess we're just heading up as early as we can.
Great. Do they know the phone is kaput? Oh well, they're your family, you're allowed to make em wait/show up early.
Did you try taking the battery out and putting it back in? Probably you did...
Yeah...tried fiddling with the battery, pressing on various points that I thought mighta come loose, dropping it again...
And they know the phone is busted. Bill told me right as we were leaving.
*sigh* I just wish he'd said something when it happened, so we coulda found a Verizon store or something.
Sigh. That's bothers for you.
I just noticed that the Hole graphic looks... empty. We need a guest or something.
How exciting, 2J!! I hope it works out for Steve. What a memorable occasion that would be for ALL of you!
A picture of Steve in his gown and Master's cowl, holding that diploma case, would look nice. ;o)
~yawn~
g'mornin'.
Choir's not singin' today. Nana's not goin' to church. So we're sending the boys on to Sunday School and we'll join 'em for second service. It's nice not havin' to be there at 8:15 every now and then.
Rosie ~ if you've got Verizon, they've probably got some deals goin' on new phones. Problem will be where you are in your contract with them and whether or not you can upgrade/replace from there. Good luck.
In other news. Nana's wrist was bothering her for a couple of weeks. So thedoctor gave her a coritisone shot.
Apparently that made her ankle hurt.
Checkin' the Verizon website for deals was where I came up with that hunnnerd dollar figure - that's what it said a phone would cost me currently according to my contract. If I'd gone *two* years, I'd be elibible for a new phone fer free, but...
Oh well. Stuff happens. But it's an irritating time for it to do so.

Watching Braveheart this morning...lotta butt-kickin' goin' on.
Yeah, we're getting to go in late today, too. Later than we should, apparently because Clare isn't downstairs yet. We're supposed to BE there at 10:15. Oh well.
Nope.... once you get there, you're committed.
Sorry about the phone... Bother :~\
Heh...so we discovered...and it comes upon you awful quick.
Hopefully they add some way to turn around once the toll goes in. Ouch! There'll be a toll that way, too, no?
I'm not sure what time I'll be back tonight - any chance you can check in on Cisco and maybe put him in if it's after six or so?
I dunno that he'll be interested in doing much today anyhow. He's taaaarrd. Didn't want to get up this morning. He had a big day yesterday.
Did he get to go on big walks yesterday?
Sure - I'll check on him and put him inside if it's late... Maybe leave his dinner on your desk so I can give him that.
There won't be a toll on the old bridge, only a toll to come back on the new one. We're determined to not pay it. We'll GO to Gig Harbor on the old one, and come back the long way through Shelton.
