Certainly Moses was as well. That's what makes the Faith of both so admirable and real.

Are you saying he didn't have doubt? It was quite clear when he spoke with God at the burning bush he not only had doubts, he flat out didn't want to go. Matter of fact, Moses argued with God for a chapter and a half about going (Exodus 3-4) in the first place. I'm pretty sure he didn't just drop that doubt at that moment for it never to arise again.

I think he was full of doubt and angst. Didn't he nag God a bit, trying to get out of the role that God has planned for him? "I'm not a leader, I speak with a stutter, I'm short & homely, I walk with a limp, who the heck is going to follow me?"

Can you imagine in our times if someone went hiking for a few days up in the Mountains and came down to say God spoke to them via a burning bush and turned their walking stick into a snake?

How soon would we all be ???? if this person was psychotic from a manic episode or worse accuse them of being a meth "tweek".

I am sure those God chose did get flak. Job (just read it last week) got a lot of flak from his friends about all the mental and physical suffering he went through, surely they said you have sinned against God to have all these afflictions. Yet it is written he never shook his fist in anger at God.

Then good ole King David who murdered, had quite a time with the ladies was promised a place in the Kingdom of God because despite his killing someone and womanizing his heart was truly remorseful and dedicated to doing God's way.


Then again the Jewish folks had 619 commandments so I see where God cleaned that up to 10. Just studying the 10 myself and find it interesting when you break down each one how much they encompass.
