That's all we need, a Moses full of doubts and Angst

Are you saying he didn't have doubt? It was quite clear when he spoke with God at the burning bush he not only had doubts, he flat out didn't want to go. Matter of fact, Moses argued with God for a chapter and a half about going (Exodus 3-4) in the first place. I'm pretty sure he didn't just drop that doubt at that moment for it never to arise again.

Isn't the fascination with Moses the fact that he was a prophet constantly rejected and unappreciated by his own people? That's enough to fill one with doubts.
