It was the best of times- it was the worst of times....
Good-bye and best of luck in cyber space freepers. My parting sentiments are: if you would please remember the troops, our veterans and their families in your prayers-they are getting the job done for all of us. (Go out and do something nice for one of them if you can.)
The most important thing on our minds, IMO, *should be* to get our troops home safely, when they are done with their jobs, to make sure the liberals do not turn this into a *Vietnam type of thing*, and to make sure America survives for endless generations to enjoy. Turf wars on threads and cyber wars are so *freaking* stupid.
To the people who are playing ego games in the name of actual troop support(*sigh*),I would love to tell you that if you are going to talk the talk~ God help you if you do not walk the walk~* straighten up and fly right*. (Y`all know who you are).
JimRob has given you a website with endless opportunities and handfuls of people who really care about our military- quit thinking only of *your* selfish needs and power moves~ and get busy building a outpouring of support for our military.
To the other freepers who really are out there being unselfish with their kindness to the troops, (and you know who you are)- God bless you too. :]
Someone needs to take over the Freepers for Action Ping list.

If you have my email already-keep in touch- to the other great folks I have *met* here~ just wanted to say goodbye y`all- If you are flaming me on my very own Opus- I say kiss my Tiara. (*snicker*)

Dearest Diva..There have been many times I "disengage" for the sake of sanity and stay away from contentious threads ..I have done that a lot lately..Take a break and come back renewed..
I will miss you. I haven't recovered from losing Old Sarge.

I have no idea what is going on here but I have to say this post has saddened me more than anything I've read in quite awhile ....
(and that includes the note I read from my doctor today saying I am going to have ingest yet another gallon of that barium crap on Wednesday ~ arg!!)
Seriously, Diva Betsy Ross, I've been pretty much out of touch for a month or so now and am very much at a lost as to being able to understand ~ although it is obvious from what you've said here that you've somehow become embroiled in some kind of a major disagreement with another and/or other FReepers.
I am so very sorry this has happened.
Sorry for all involved.
(including for those of us left in the wake, wondering why)
Since you seem to have decided that it is best at this time for you to "ride off into the sunset" I offer you this to carry with you ~
I have truly enjoy our "visits" and I will miss you very much!
