DialIdol has been wrong a lot. They have gotten the bottom two a couple of times, and the bottom three exactly in order a couple of weeks ago, but I am always hesitant to "celebrate" too early from their picks.
Kat is consistently on top of the AOL polls and I know a lot of people (our family included) that vote for both Chris and Kat. It does not surprise me one bit that Chris and Kat were the top two. I don't like it when they tell who had the top votes, but they do that every year. I still remember when Ryan said "Fantasia, you had [insert number- 30/40?] percent of all votes" early in season 3.
I think that contestants have to change their songs at the whim of either the Guest Star or the producer, sometimes because it is being performed in their little song and dance number. That has happened to a couple of the contestants this season. I cannot remember who--Kat did and, of course Taylor, shoot can't remember the other. At least that was the rumor. So who knows.;^) But that would really bite if it was one you had your heart set on! Grrrr.
Any of the final 3 or 4, will be just fine. They've all had national exposure, and that is a golden ticket. Just like Mandisa. She's already got a gig as a plus-size model, in addition to her singing career. And I loved her! Waaaaaah!!!!
I'm still staying with my original guess that the top three are Chris, Kat, and Taylor.
I'll keep an eye out for it (what could it be? Wait--don't tell me :)

The first surprise of season five
was not enough votes to keep Mandisa alive
But she went and butchered Shania's song
So we know her butt would not be on very long
Ace bottomed out when he butchered some queen
He made "We Will Rock you" sound so obsene
Good old boy Bucky sang out his heart
But it wasn't enough so he soon would part
Last week boy-toy Ace didn't do too bad
but he was voted off and the girls were all sad
Most of us weren't too upset to see him go
and he seemed to take it and go with the flow
This week Princess Pee would squeak by again
And even Dial Idol though it would be her end
But Kellie's fans couldn't keep her a float
So in the end she lost by a few votes
Now Simon is pushing Katharine and Chris
And there's a good chance that he's get his wish
The finals are only a few weeks away
The question is how long Elliott and Taylor will stay

I think AI wanted to tell the world who their favorite two were tonight - ie, the anointed frontrunners. They waited until Hicks was no longer the top votegetter (presumably) to play this game. It's obvious to me at least who they want to win, and who they want NOT to win.

Heh heh heh - there is talk on the votefortheworst.com site of making Taylor their new poster child now that Pickle is gone. Not because they think he stinks but because they think him winning ticks the AI braintrust off!
