FR Folding@Home Project Update - We're in the Top 150 teams Worldwide! (A Tribute to Ronald Reagan)

OK, new thread for the next week, celebrating the first of many Million point producers – our very own Klutz_Dohanger!

First, a big shout out to the SETI and BOINC members who have added CPUs to the effort. Remember, its Team 36120, NOT Team 0.

Next, congrats to all for bumping our team up to 1011 processors and 305 user names. We have a number of new users in the team, with over 50 computers from GetLoaded.com, a trucking support website, all contributing while their owners ply our freeways keeping the nation moving.

We now have 57 members who have contributed at least 10,000 points each. Woo-Hoo!

Even more impressive, our team now boasts 225 members who have folded at least 1,000 points. That is more than the entire number of folders for our erstwhile left-wing environazi competitors!

Free Republic Folding@Home Stats Page

On the global front, Free Republic Folders is now listed at # 157. We will be in the Top 150 on Saturday!

As we continue to grow there are a number of milestones coming around the bend:

Top 150 by March 30
Top 100 by the end of the May

We have 3,350,000 points so far and have folded over 20,000 WU. We now fold over a million points per month, each and every month! Fantastic!

Thanks again to all that are helping us advance science and promote the peaceful use of computers.

I guess we will occasionally still get 2107s (I got one today :( ), but it seems the heart of the 2106 and 2107s have been dished out and we are moving on.

My youngest will want to install my older son's old copy of rock raiders soon. Did you figure out why it blows up your folding work?

Thanks Egon! Your tool is cool, and I like what you did with the scripting. You are really good.

I immediately found one of my sick little chickens who was looking for a place to lay it's work. It gets a little bit much checking each machine. I will be putting this on my remote borgs as time permits. It will be really useful in those cases. Those rebelious guys tend to break away from the collective and do there own things from time to time.

BTW, one request, can you make the iframe on the stats page a little wider and heigher so that the scroll bars disappear?

Awesome! Thanks!

That's exactly what I was going for. Glad it's working for you! My thanks to dfwddr and Dr_Quin for helping me tweak some stuff through the birthing process and update the help file with our experiences.

If anyone wants to check this out, please Freepmail me. I'm avoiding posting the link here for obvious reasons.

If anyone has any suggestions/questions/complaints, feel free to lay 'em on me. Thanks!

OMG, I just happened to look at the overclocking stats page, and found out that I jumped like 15 spots and ended up in the top 20! How the hell did that happen??? I guess a bunch of large WUs must have all finished at once, just when I had resigned myself to just staying in the 30's. Now, all I have to look forward to is the inevitable fall from grace, unless I can find some more CPUs to borg...

Into the top hundred for me! I need to get so more WU done so I don't slip back down. . . My daily points vacillate from ~175-250 depending on what I'm working on.
