Why I Support President Bush and the ZOT!

Posted on 03/19/2006 6:29:28 AM PST by thousand dollar hamburger

I think he has a sincere desire to help everyone. he has even gone out of his way to embrace people like Hillary Clinton and Ted Kennedy. He does not hold grudges as shown by his willingness to bend over backwards to allow terrorist supporting nations to operate our ports. We need this type of benevolent leader.

Our President is not a cheapskate, as he has opened up our budget to give to anyone who might need anything.

Aliens from all nations are welcomed into our great country without having to deal with mundane bureaucratic State approval. Cutting government red tape -- that's the Bush way!

Yes, our Prseident even realizes that occupying as many countries around the world as possible is the best way to spread American ideals.

We are truly lucky to have this great man. I suggest that at 10:00 AM EST, we all stand up in unison and shout -- HOORAY FOR BUSH!!!

You'll have to forgive the math error. Someone just posted a particularly hideous photo of Helen Thomas on one of the other threads.

At least my sight's returned!

I do forgive it. I made a similar error about 40,000 posts ago.

Wow, 4 posts ago? I don't see it on the thread. Was it pulled?

The symptoms have a rapid onset.

The Syndrome

I've only had one comment pulled, and that was just a misunderstanding.

"Someone just posted a particularly hideous photo of Helen Thomas "

You have my sympathies. I quite understand.

If I were stuck with her in a life raft in shark-infested waters, I'd sure be glad that I could swim, but I really wouldn't care.

I wore a bikini, once.
I much prefer the one piece.

I've got to get to sleep.
Sorry.
We'll talk soon.

Good nite.
Sweet dreams.

If I were serious, I would have had to overlook the fact that the sequence of posts was (and is) unbroken. I'm not saying that it couldn't happen, though.

It was my understanding--or maybe, misunderstanding--that having a post pulled meant either suspension or banishment.

It's been forever since I've been out in anything less than a shirt and pants (or a long skirt).

Good night, fanfan.

No, any comment can be removed.

Many are removed at the request of the poster. When one makes a particularly egregious or embarrassing mistake for example.

It doesn't help always. Then you get speculation about what the missing post or message was.

The other category are messages that are uncivil, unkind, or unproductive in other various ways. Longevity gives some protection, but not carte blanche.

LOL!

Great to hear such good stories about your wife. Sounds as if she may be in better spirits than some of her nurses.

Of course, it might have been the weather...

Some people don't realize that you actually keep a bit cooler in long sleeves and pants because the sun isn't right on your skin. I never 'bought' that one, either, though I've met more than one farmer and ranch hand who'd swear up and down it's true. Of course, growing up in SoCal, t-shrits and shorts are almost obligatory when the sun's out.

Hey, did I get you in on my Easter weekend book recommendation?

If not, here's a 'trackback" to it:

I'm further along in the book, now, than I was when I made that post and it's consistently good.

Rule: Before surgeery, mark the area to be operated on. If it's your foot, mark "This one!"

Um. An inadequate precaution.

It's more important to mark the one not to be operated on: "NOT this one, the OTHER one!"
