Find a partner or grab your favorite beverage & listen to some Irish tunes .A couple of wave files - full-length, lilting, Irish melodies - they are so beautiful! I hope you can open them, or "save target as" to your hard drive and listen to them later.

Why Saint Patrick's Day?
Saint Patrick's Day has come to be associated with everything Irish: anything green and gold, shamrocks and luck. Most importantly, to those who celebrate its intended meaning, St. Patrick's Day is a traditional day for spiritual renewal and offering prayers for missionaries worldwide.
So, why is it celebrated on March 17th? One theory is that that is the day that St. Patrick died. Since the holiday began in Ireland, it is believed that as the Irish spread out around the world, they took with them their history and celebrations. The biggest observance of all is, of course, in Ireland. With the exception of restaurants and pubs, almost all businesses close on March 17th. Being a religious holiday as well, many Irish attend mass, where March 17th is the traditional day for offering prayers for missionaries worldwide before the serious celebrating begins.
In American cities with a large Irish population, St. Patrick's Day is a very big deal. Big cities and small towns alike celebrate with parades, "wearing of the green," music and songs, Irish food and drink, and activities for kids such as crafts, coloring and games. Some communities even go so far as to dye rivers or streams green!

I'll take talent like you have over raw beauty any day. Don't know what you look like, but I know you are intelligent and clever. Big pluses!
Very true. Independent is a big plus as well!

You are extremely intelligent and I'm very proud of you for doing so well in school...especially with all the temptations a young lady faces at college nowadays.

I'm a day late on this one
May those that love us, love us.
And those that don't love us,
May God turn their hearts.
And if He doesn't turn their hearts,
May He turn their ankles
So we will know them by their limping.

I had a Cuban buddy when I was in the Air Force that went wild over a girl with a big butt. He would always say, "Did you see the *ss on her"!!! Known in Miami as a "Rice and Bean A-s." Me Gusta. :-)

Yup. I don't need some co-dependent woman!
There was a thread a couple weeks ago about "strong" women. But it wasn't about strong women, it was about the "b*ll-buster" type.
There is a difference! I like strong, intelligent, conservative women. I don't like man-hating, leftist, NOW-loving, b*ll-busting heartless b*tches.

Independent is a big plus as well!I am independent. I'm also highly educated, which some men find unattractive.

Education is a huge plus! I've met so many girls, that after talking with them for ~2 minutes I am tempted to ask "Would you like some rocks with that?"
