Find a partner or grab your favorite beverage & listen to some Irish tunes .A couple of wave files - full-length, lilting, Irish melodies - they are so beautiful! I hope you can open them, or "save target as" to your hard drive and listen to them later.

Why Saint Patrick's Day?
Saint Patrick's Day has come to be associated with everything Irish: anything green and gold, shamrocks and luck. Most importantly, to those who celebrate its intended meaning, St. Patrick's Day is a traditional day for spiritual renewal and offering prayers for missionaries worldwide.
So, why is it celebrated on March 17th? One theory is that that is the day that St. Patrick died. Since the holiday began in Ireland, it is believed that as the Irish spread out around the world, they took with them their history and celebrations. The biggest observance of all is, of course, in Ireland. With the exception of restaurants and pubs, almost all businesses close on March 17th. Being a religious holiday as well, many Irish attend mass, where March 17th is the traditional day for offering prayers for missionaries worldwide before the serious celebrating begins.
In American cities with a large Irish population, St. Patrick's Day is a very big deal. Big cities and small towns alike celebrate with parades, "wearing of the green," music and songs, Irish food and drink, and activities for kids such as crafts, coloring and games. Some communities even go so far as to dye rivers or streams green!

I had a Cuban buddy when I was in the Air Force that went wild over a girl with a big butt. He would always say, "Did you see the *ss on her"!!!
His wife had a big butt too.

I only wish there was a way to focus the effects of global warming, to where I am! Normally (Read: when I can ski regularly) winter is my favorite season.

She didn't do it. She's just so lovely that the aura of her loveliness made the home page appear out of thin air when she first logged onto FR. Some are still baffled by it. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

See? Whenever baffled people ponder the mystery, she just laughs. Those silly people...their minds just can't comprehend it.

A good, friendly girl (woman) with a nice personality is much more important that a woman who looks like a sex goddess. I had the latter and she turned out to be not worth having. And all the other guys are always after her whether or not she is married.
Looks ain't everything. I ain't so pretty myself.

I wish y'all could share some of that snow. I can't remember the last time I saw snow (in real life anyway). It's been a couple years at least.
