Tom Cruise and fiancée Katie Holmes have declared their love for each other in a bizarre wedding ceremony on a ship.
The couple exchanged rings emblazoned with triangular Scientology symbols as fellow cult members John Travolta and Kirstie Alley looked on.
An insider said: Katie wore a flowing white dress and Tom was in a black suit as they exchanged rings during the brief 30 minute ceremony.
The couple then walked across a tiny bridge a Scientology symbol for the journey to total freedom.

So, was this ship run by the infamous "Sea Division"? Are they still searching the Mediterranean Sea and sneaking into archaeological sites looking for gold that L. Ron left himself in previous lives as some have claimed they used to do?
To: Cecily
They're on a cruise bound for hell. It's a pity they're celebrating it.

Katie wore a flowing white dress and Tom was in a black suit ...He thought he was going to the funeral part of "Four Weddings and a Funeral". I guess having a kid on the way doesn't have anything to do with love anymore in the world.

Will her multi-millions to come be worth it?
After a few years they will break up -- the age difference will be cited as finally coming in to play.
She'll begin to get the most major roles in Hollywood and the highest salaries. And an Oscar to boot.
Worked well for Kidman.

IIRC, Katie's family is rather down-to-earth...I'm sure they are just waiting for an opportunity to call in the deprogrammers.

They are going to Aruba of all places. Didn't fellow Scientologist Greta Van Holloway-Twitty warn them off?

So, was this ship run by the infamous "Sea Division"?It's the "Sea Org." I used to see them all over Hollywood in their uniforms when I lived there. Creepy people. On the other hand, "L. Ron Hubbard's Winter Wonderland" on Hollywood Blvd. at Christmastime is a genuine hoot.

Yeah, that's it. It's been a while since I read the book by his son, the one witht he black and white cover that they had to rush into production because Scientologists blocked their volcano parody cover.

They managed to slip a recruitment booklet into my college paper in the 1980s. At the time, I wondered what the deal was the the naval officer outfits. Of course I laughed quite a bit while watching Oliver Stone's miniseries Wild Palms. There is a wicked parody of Scientology in there, including the little kid wearing a naval officer's uniform.

It was a wedding ceremony but they aren't married. Am I the only one who is tilting my head with that confused puppy look? So, they couldn't get a license or what? Just too wired. Nicole Kidman and Penelope Kruz were just too mature for him. They got past the great smile and saw the control freak side of him. Kate will mature soon enough and Tom will be looking for another nieve child.
