Dubai Ports Deal just about done... 10 days at most
3/14/2006 | dabozek

Prediction: Ports Deal Buyer announces purchase of U.S. ports holdings from Dubai World Ports. Yale and Texas buddies of Bush step forward and bail out Prez. Dubai gets there price, we get our security of ports, and Democrats and Republicans slap five for a job well done. Story will break in 10 or less days.

No, we never lost our security of ports. It is that idiotic RAT lie which caused a huge embarrassment to our Nation, our President and our Ally. Most embarassing of all was the vile and utterly clueless action of the House GOP. Getting down in the RAT filled sewer of deception and opportunism no matter how costly to National Security. Pathetic.

Don't worry, you will get a chance to vote them all out in November.

The only alternative to the GOP is varying degrees of insanity. This was just sheer stupidity.

Not really. Why don't you run? Why not Jim Robinson? We don't have to keep voting in this pitiful two party system any more.

Why, because I have no chance of winning nor ability to do so. Perhaps my son may, in time, Jim, I or You represent a tiny percentage of the electorate most of which has NO deeper understanding of political reality than the Man in the Moon.

Then there is also the slight problem of living in the heart of the most powerful RAT machine in the Nation which makes any GOP victory possible once in half century.

But we are only at the beginning stage anyway. Right now destruction of the influence of the Treason Media and Party of Treason is the prime objective and is proceeding well. This is the significance of Free Republic. It's work is of critical importance and has already intervened positively in thwarting RAT frauds in both presidential elections.

Its great danger is that ideologues will drive it too far Right to be of use anymore and this is the only way the RATs can regain power. We realize that the key for us is to drive the RAT party as far left as possible allowing all to see its insanity. The same lesson applies for the Right.

I don't think that we will get near the level of security from the American owners than what DPW was offering.

How many terminals in which ports are invoolved in the "port deal"?

Out of 3000 terminals, the biggest count I saw was 22 of them were involved.

Given the small dollar value involved in the deal, it really does look like the only advantage to P&O was to give ships they dispatched from elsewhere a scheduling advantage.
