THE 50TH FREEPTOON
Welcome, welcome, welcome! Tonight we are celebrating the most monumental occasion in the history of the world: This is the 50th FReeptoon drawn and posted by the man of the hour, pcottraux.
Okay, first tonight, I’d like to kick things off by unveiling something specially crafted with backbreaking work. This is a brand new and hopefully permanent addition to the FReeptoon universe:

This bad boy will now be run before each and every FReeptoon, as sort of an opening title.
NOW FOR THE MAIN ATTRACTION
Tonight I am bringing you a VERY SPECIAL FReeptoon, in honor of my number 50.
In the grand tradition of Superman, I bring you the “Bizarro World” version of myself. That’s right, ladies and gentlemen. This is the opposite of Pcottraux and his FReeptoons.
Straight from the smelly, stinking, festering bowels of the Democratic Underground, this is THE DU VERSION OF PCOTTRAUX. His name is “M. Cottraux” (the “M” stands for “Mortimer”). He is my evil opposite/nemesis and every Sunday and Wednesday, he posts his “DU TOONS” on the site of our evil nemeses:

This strip is continuing the first real story in Dinklemeyer’s history: the deathball story. As I’ve been saying, this is a scarcely exaggerated version of what it was like for me being forced to play volleyball in Middle School gym class. Somehow, of all the memories from childhood, those may be the least fond.

Yeah, I don't know where the singles thread is this week.
It's possible that whoever was hosting the thread this week had a power outage. That's happened before.
Why don't we just launch the thread and add the ping list when we can find it?
I strongly suspect it has been deliberately sabotaged.

I'm a little bit afraid of overstepping my authority on this.

Here's an idea, send a ping to the singles people and tell them that the party it HERE tonight.
Nobody ever accused me of being stupid.
If fact, someone called me "brilliant" yesterday.
I've always had a knack on figuring people out. Since early grade school. I'm 55 now and even better at it than I used to be.
Can you remember the names of the people who chat there? We could form a mini-ping list and just ask if anyone knows what's going on. And if no one knows, it's a party.
I'd start it, but seems kinda strange for a married gal to start a singles thread.
Yeah, that would be strange.
So far, no replies to my FReepmails.
I'll tell you what, if you get the singles thread started, I'll work on a ping list based on the people who visited last weekend. I can email it to you, like in a word document and you can cut and paste it in, or I could just ping them myself.
That and he is to Donkey what Stimpy was to Ren.
We could just have it here. Much simpler.
Just ping the usual people who post on the singles thread. Or use the list.
Sort of, if you want to say that the Danish Media was Cousin Sven.
The problem is, none of us has the list.
