What do you do to relax, chill-out un-wind and de-stress besides chatting with other freepers?

Helpful tips thread...

I never allowed myself the luxury of any sort of boat until my fifties, so now that I have one, I would have to say -- I boat (fish, sun, grandkids, go-fast and listen to the waves and ball games.)

All of my life I have read for relaxation. As I am more cautious with my time I now read only history, political theory and commentary and current events.

I also barbeque and cook a lot with my wonderful wife. We can turn a meal gathering into something that would make many subscribers to Bon Appitite sit up and take notice.

Skydiving, opera writing and beer drinking, although generally not in that order.

I write poetry, short stories, and novellas.

I also enjoy PC/video games. The adventure or empire-builder games are my favorite.

Currently, "Battle for Middle Earth", Sid Meier's "Pirates", and "Curse of the Black Pearl" are the faves.

Play around with hubby and youngest boy child, read, sleep, journal, crochet. But, if in need of some "excitement" in life, we try to each youngest daughter to drive a stick.

We have two other guys who do WOW - one Marine, one Army.

The bandwitdh here isn't the greatest. I open the firewall for certain times, and then shut it down so others can get out.

Hang with my boys (and watch episode after episode of either Dora or Little Einstein's)

Take baths - as hot as I can get it, with incense, candles and relaxing music or my water fountains to serenade me...

Watch re-runs or better yet, new episodes, of "24"!!
