"The Insider"'s MARC MALKIN has confirmed to ET that SHERYL CROW underwent surgery for minimally invasive breast cancer on Wednesday. A spokesperson for Crow says that doctors confirm her prognosis as excellent and that she will receive radiation treatment as a precaution. Crow's spokesperson added that, "with much regret, she must postpone her complete tour of North America which was scheduled for March/April," but that it is her "intention to reschedule as much of the tour as reasonably possible."

No one is immune to breast cancer no matter how young. Especially if there is a family precedent. When younger women are stricken, it seems to be particularly aggressive. IIRC Sheryl is in her forties. Not sooo young. Prayers for her and all other suffering from the disease. It is a really tough battle.
Well, he left his wife who saw him through his own cancer. That's pretty low.
I hope Crow recovers and our prayers are with her.
Urban legend. He met his wife post cancer.
The timing is indeed suspect. I told my husband last night that if that were the case, Lance is the BIGGEST A-hole on the planet!!!!
So you drop to their level? How nice. And how convenient for you to throw all liberals in one definition. By your statement alone, you've made it seem that all conservatives wish death upon liberals. You are simply a vile, bitter person. May God have mercy on your soul.
If you had been through what Lance had, could you steel yourself to watching your mate possibly go through it too?
Prayers for both of them!!
"So, you think Lance left her because she had breast cancer. Man that would be low."
Word on the street is they split because of politics. She hates Bush, he likes him.
Well, he left his wife who saw him through his own cancer. That's pretty low.
_____________
here we go again. check your "facts". the timeline is available and your are incorrect.
I've never heard Crow wish death on anyone. Have you?
The irony of your "What goes around comes around" statement is not at all lost on me. It does not bode well for you going forward.
Okay. How about this though? He left his wife and kids for another woman. That's pretty low.
And your evidence for the statement is what? I don't mean to be overly nitpicky, but given that you really just seem to talking about what you've heard others say, it's hard to give your statements a lot of weight.

there is a direct question to his biographer regarding the breakup and "another woman" is not even mentioned.

you can also read this page, in which Kristin Armstrong's reasons for the breakup can be found.
A lot of marriages break up, with children involved, I'm not ready to condemn the man in all cases as you seem to be.
I loathe this woman's politics and I think her music is mediocre at best but I wish her the best in her fight against breast cancer. My mother is a 20 year breast cancer survivor. It's possible when caught early.
On a brighter note, if she does have to have a double mastectomy, her figure will not change much! ;-)
Ditto!
Be nice! Not all of us ladies have boobs like Pam Anderson, fake as they are! Of course, I'd rather be flat and cancer free.
Oh I doubt she'll shut up about her politics. She can be as passionate as some freepers. But another famous person as an outspoken advocate for early detection will only help everyone.
Crow's former fiance, cycling champion Lance Armstrong, said in a statement released Friday night that he was devastated to learn the news.
"Once again I'm reminded of just how pervasive this illness is, as it has now touched someone I love deeply," said Armstrong, who is a survivor of testicular cancer.
"Based on my contact in recent days with Sheryl, her doctor and her family, I am confident that she will have a full and complete recovery and the world will be a better place for it," said Armstrong, who asked that Crow's fans keep her "in your thoughts and prayers."
Not a thing wrong with small chested women. I prefer quality over quantity any day. And I'm totally against implants purely to get bigger boobs.
