CHICAGO -- Tracy Tedesco is smart -- she spent 20 years as a corporate recruiter.
She's funny -- most professional comedians are, or at least should be.
She's hot -- and she knows it.
At 41, Chicago comedian Tracy Tedesco is beating back guys in their 20s like she was giving away Xboxes.
Tedesco is the definition of an "urban cougar."
The label used to be an unflattering characterization of middle-aged, boy-hungry single women. But as more women shed the traditional taboos about age and dating, the name has been taken on as a badge of empowerment by sexy, older professional women who prefer the physical and spiritual qualities of younger men.

I say more power to her. Younger guys aren't ready to settle down, and older women don't give them a bunch of mind games. They're straight to the point and honest.
Plus women in their late 30s and 40s are just getting their second wind, if you know what I mean.

Maybe. My best friend is 32 and is dating a 43 year-old woman, whom I would describe as anything but shallow. While the sex definitely plays a major role, they do enjoy each other's company very much. And they're both aware that it won't last forever, as she will eventually want to meet somebody her age and re-marry.

That's not really an issue. A guy in his early 30's has enough going for him that the age thing isn't really going to be a huge issue. I was looking at 40 year olds dating guys in their early to mid-20's.
And hey, I "dated" two 45 year olds when I was 26/27 and a 37 year old when I was 24.
Only one was smart enough to understand what the deal was.
