Hey... get in line.

As one of two young single men in my group at work, I am constantly reminded that it has been almost 10 years since the group has had a bachelors party and that my co-workers aren't getting any younger.

It's almost as bad as parents that want grandchildren while "they are young".

Yeah my thoughts exactly. I'd looove to go on a cruise. However, I don't know of any free cruises.

Are you going to show everyone what you accomplished today?

I'm having a hard enough time just keeping up on the thread! I think I'm about 30 posts behind. I don't know how you guys do it, keep up and post pictures too!

I can't even afford to buy DVDs I want, and they're talking about cruises?

Maybe when we're retired we can go on one. After I've paid off all of my school loans and credit card debt.

It was a few years ago and they moved away, so I actually don't know how they're doing now. Rumor was that she had a nice bank balance, but a man would never marry for money, would he?

Ding Ding Ding...

I don't go on vacations with "double occupancy" in the pricing.. which is what nearly all arranged travel packages are.

My alumni association has had numerous trips that I would love to go on, but it would cost double for me because I am not a "couple".

I'm working on my MSc in engineering (Materials - metallurgical). Thermo is my only required course, and I never cared for it too much as an undergrad either!

The last time I took it, I was a bit too busy having fun instead of studying for finals! I made my bed, so.....

I'm doing well. I figured I'd come into my office and get some work done before I jumped on FR, but here I am! (Not that its a bad thing!)

Did you have a good day, anything exciting?

Nothing exciting happened here. I just dissertated for a while and then went shopping. Tomorrow, I will be travelling into the office.

No I was a social worker first, although I took a bunch of odd jobs right out of college- then I was getting out of Social Work when I got laid off from my last SW gig... and I took that as an opportunity to start my own business in bridal consulting and party planning.

When my oldest son was born I closed up shop- because I wanted to stay home and not work.

I have done a few weddings since- for friends, or photo shoots- and a handful of other kinds of parties for people. But Weddings are my favorite. My last wedding was my sisters wedding-over a year ago- so I am ready for another.
