Enough Of This Word GAY.

I implore all Freepers to quit using the word Gay and refer to the homosexual crowd as something else. Queer (That's a term the homosexual crowd seems to like), Homos, whetever else but not GAY. Once my mother said "Those bastards took a word that people used to name their children, a word that meant something pleasant, and turned it into a dirty, degenerate term." This homo-sympathetic liberal culture has tried to lessen the true meaning of homosexualism by using terms that seem endearing. Lets stop this nonsense and start taking our culture back by not being sympathetic to anything these people do or say. I don't want to appear hateful, just fed up with this load of crap that's been shoved towards the Americans that refuse to accept their behavior as a "lifestyle".

I've always been annoyed with the this hijacking of
language thing. Gay is a great word and it has been
hijacked by homos.

I believe that the only way to rescue the word 'gay' and
restore it to its original status is if we all make a
concerted effort to start calling homos 'gheys'.
Currenty 'ghey' is not a word but tomorrow ... who knows?

And perhaps even better ...
I really do think it would be cool to make an effort
to take back the word 'gay'. Another idea on this would
be to use an antonym for gay, to wit: 'chagrined'.
Just look an the M-W etymology:

: disquietude or distress of mind caused by humiliation, disappointment, or failure
~
Now, isn't that just perfect? Doesn't 'chagrined' more
aptly describe 'gays' you may have come in contact with?
Using a word like chagrined would put some phrases in use
to today in a much more realistic context as in ...
chagrined marriage.
chagrined pride parade.
the chagrined rights movement.
chagrined cowboys.
closeted chagrined
(why would anyone hide in a closet if they were really gay?)
Hey, the list goes on.

So there ya go, the next time someone tells you they are 'gay', tell em, "No, you are chagrined."
