After doing mostly 500 frame WUs, my last one was 12,500 frames and my current one is 20,000.

The laundry is never done!

I'm pinging you to this thread because you maintain the OSS and Tech ping lists... if you're not familiar with the Folding@Home project, please have a look at it. We have a good numbers FReepers folding so far, and have become one of the top contributing teams (#36120).

If it looks worthwhile to you (and I hope it does), please ping your lists to this thread. Surely among all of the OSS and Tech people out there we could add some serious horsepower to this effort!!!

We're closing out a great week-- 204,000+ for the week, three days of more than 30,00 pts./day. We need to be careful, though. The DUmmies are hot on our trail. /s

Who, among our folders, knows about Macs? My G4 iBook is taking an hour to do one frame of p1136. It's ridiculous. My 533mhz PC does similar 400-frame WUs with similar numbers of proteins in anywhere from 25-32 minutes per frame. This G4 ought to be goin faster. In 6 days the silly thing has done 124 frames of 400 [31%]. Something is wrong, and I can't tell what it is.

This may have been mentioned before but there are only 4 teams between 101st place and us (390th) with a higher daily average and only 9 teams total between 50th and us that have a higher daily average. There are 12 teams in the top 50 with a lower daily average than us. Given enough time we could break the top 50.

I just started doing this. I usually just leave my system up but I need to reboot since I installed new software. Will the Folding restart automatically or do I need to restart it?

Hooray--my son joined the team! He's not a FReeper, but he enjoyed the Seti project, and I persuaded him to join our team. His machine sure folds faster than mine....
