OK, new thread for the next week.
First, a big shout out to the SETI and BOINC members who have added CPUs to the effort. Remember, its Team 36120, NOT Team 0.
Next, congrats to all for bumping our team up to 512 processors and 220 user names. We have a number of new users in the team, with over a dozen folders now from GetLoaded.com all popping onto the hit list this week.
We now have ten members who have contributed at least 10,000 points each. Klutz Dohanger, Malsua, Ken in Texas, Andrewksu, LSimpson, kingu, Uriah, arderenne and rach_FR have all reached this milestone. Papasmurf and Senator Bedfellow will join them this next week. Great job!
Even more impressive, our team now boasts 132 members who have folded at least 1,000 points. That is more than the entire number of CPUs folding for our erstwhile left-wing environazi competitors!
Free Republic Folding@Home Stats Page
On the global front, Free Republic Folders is now listed at # 401. We will be in the Top 400 on Sunday!
As we continue to grow there are a number of milestones coming around the bend:
Top 300 by February
Top 250 by the end of the February
We have 800,000 points so far and have folded over 6,400 WU. We will reach an exalted mark of folding a million points per month, each and every month! Fantastic!
Thanks again to all that are helping us advance science and promote the peaceful use of computers.

Want to see why we fold?
Papasmurf: Think you don't make a difference?
It is sooooooooo kewl having friends and family join our team. Folding is some of the most fun I've had with my clothes on. (badda boom)
Know what's worse? Having a CPU not deliver a unit in 7 days and trying to figure out which one it is. Heh. I have had 14 running now for a couple months, I see today that one hasn't done any in 7 days. Go figure. heh.
When you are as lame as I am and only have 2 CPUs folding it's easy to tell. I can imagine power folders such as yourself and Klutz_dohanger having that problem. I should be so lucky.
By the way, when Klutz's 75 new rigs kick in at 80%, the DU will be in shock 'n awe.
Man.... tell me about it. Found one of my wayward children today, my son had borrowed the Cat-5 cable from a gateway laptop, and assumed that the wireless was turned on... nope!!
I couldn't find the thread because you didn't have "folding" in the title.
Can we standardize the title (with comments parenthetically) so we can find it?
Not everyone is on the ping list.
My god man... have you considered how much shielding that will take? The Global warming process alone, will take 3 kyoto's worth of hot-air bypass's to overcome the thermal uptake. A more elegant democratic design would be to bypass the binary polarization, solidify your worker processes by joining them together using Chad's process, and apply the theory of negativity.
...just turn up the dial....

I think I know the machine...I think someone shut it off since it's not needed at the moment. Course, now that I have 14 +1 now(new screamer came on today), that's still nothing compared to your volume. I'm replacing 8 units on the floor in the next couple months(all intel 3500s or more, running at 2.4ghz therebouts), might put them in scaled back so they don't burn up. Even if I put them ALL in, I could only get maybe 100 total. I've got a couple in the 1.6ghz range and they churn for days, but it's all good. Would rather just put fast ones in.
I've started bringing on the lab computers, but I never know from day to day, if someone is going to shut them down on me, or do as told. They're in heavy use all day, and they're throttled back to 80%, so they're realistically only folding about 12hrs/day.
But, in the long run, they'll still start adding up. I've got until May 18th, (that's when everything shuts down for the summer), but then I'll be back, August 6th. By then, we should be well into the top 100.

AHA! My Golden Opportunity to catch up and pass you. Now if I could only find a couple of thousand more CPUs & lock them down so that they ONLY run FAH 24/7 and make sure that they are all the fastest, latest, greatest supercooled CPU and mainboard combos with no extraneous hardware running in a giant blade and with terrabites of the fastest ram available and..., and..., and..., - oh, nevermind - I just woke up and saw my 2 sad little machines. Oh, well - keep on foldin'. ;^D
I was wondering if there was a way to queue up WU's to fold offline? I usually only have one in my queue at a time. Just curious.

Heh, I like the comments "what we're afraid to see" or other such nonsense. They're just about to flip to the bottom side of the graph. After about 32 or so days, there was a big jump in new members, myself included, klutz came on about 10 or so days later. In other words, they're gonna look like a limp noodle pretty soon.

I know. They can't just find a Malsua and Klutz in their pool of unemployed :) we should have an updated graph posted every 2-3 days to show them how they fall behind more and more
Damn. Forgot to use my own process.
