Let's see you have not met the nutty family, her massive credit card bills, the children she poorly raised, her federal and state records, past husbands or boyfriends, her medical record, her Bill Clinton pictures, and her real personality.

Women who have sex on the first date are acting like tramps.
And men who do this are selfish pigs.

But then sometimes you meet someone you're so attracted to, and it feels like love at first sight, and you know that even if you sleep with them that first night, it will make no difference because there's such strong chemistry and you're so obviously into each other. If the author knew what she was talking about, and had experience in this, why isn't the author happily married to that person to whom they were "into?"
Oh wait.... just filling up a column. :)

I can think of some reasons to have sex on the first date. Her insipid, "it feels like love at first sight" is emphatically NOT one of them.
To: Millee
Not a good idea. Especially if you hope to have a second date.
More than likely it would make whatever relationship that develops, mostly about sex. Though, I suppose there have been some instances where it lasts.

1st date = 1st base
2nd date = 2nd base
3rd date = 3rd base
4 date = you know where this is going....

When I was young, I bought my women shorty nightgowns.
Now that I am 67, I buy them nightgowns with skirts 4 yards long.
Pulling it up is the most fun.

I'll trust what the scriptures teach us on this one. Why would I ever trust man/woman on this very important subject?
They've done such a great job so far in the world of today. Just take a look at all the crime, greed, sex trade, perverts, child molestation; boy the list is a long one...
