Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
And there are many paths to tread
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Hm...yeah, that could be a dilemma.
Do you know how you're gonna work in the interview?
To: RosieCotton
He was in movies, too!
Quigley Down Under? The Sacketts? High Road To China?
And, oh, those dimples!
To: Rose in RoseBear
I missed those, too...
To: RosieCotton; RMDupree
I would have to interview either early in the morning (before 8am) or after 5:30pm, or on the weekend.
I do get an hour of lunch, and could do a phone interview then. The recruiter is a personal friend, and can vouch for me ...
To: RosieCotton; JenB
Did you and Jen watch "Runaway" while you were doing cheesy 80's movies?

Big'ol sez that the odds that he is Catholic are higher than if he was of another professionIt's a running joke in Tom Clancy novels that the FBI always recruits heavily at Holy Cross College and Boston College.

Funny, but I just can't stand the smell of marigolds. Don't know why. They're purty, but can't stand to smell them. Kinda like lilies. They are the most gorgeous flowers, but too much of it makes me ill. One Sunday, just after Easter, I was sitting in the front pew at Mass, cause I was serving as Eucharistic Minister that week. I almost reeled at the smell of the Easter lilies that were arrayed around the pulpit, and on the altar. GAG!

Quigley Down UnderMmmm. Tom Selleck as the good guy, and Alan Rickman as the bad guy! Can't lose there!

The CIA used to recruit at Oral Roberts University. We had a friend in DC who worked for them.
At least that's what she ~said~.

~snickering~
The mares were out farting around tonight so I went out to film them... and ended up with an America's funniest pets video: Cyn inexplicably trips over her own feet and falls on her face!
CynFall.AVI (largest - AVI file - 35 MB broadband)
Cynfallshort.wmv (smaller WMV file and shorter - 1.5 MB)
These will play best if you right click the link - choose "save target as" and save it and play it from your desktop.
