A friend of mine was voting for Sway...tough luck on that one.

Too bad - you need to vote for someone who can sing!

I think both Randy and Paula are embarrassing. Randy might be a genius music producer, but he has a 20 world vocabulary. They could put a tape recorder on and just hit it whenever the singer's are through. Paula is just weird. As mean as Simon is, he's usually spot on.

My ideal would be a combination of Josh Gracin's macho manliness, Clay Aiken's voice and Bo Bice's performance skills.

LOL. That is quite a feat for someone to have all those traits. I agree with everything you said. As an adult it amazes me that I am so "into" American Idol. It is just a great show. It is nice for "normal" people to perform and "regular" people to vote for who they want to keep or not.

When Ryan asked Paula to comment on the 2 remaining men, she looked at Simon and said "what did you tell me?"
It was as if he told her what to say, and then she forgot what he told her.

Then she rambled on incoherently about what, I don't know. It didn't make any sense. Randy had to help her out because she was getting her words mixed up. Then Ryan cut in and ended it.

Totally bizarre.

Guessed correctly on the girls booted off this week. Missed on both the guys, but I can't say I'm disappointed that Sway and David are gone.

Her eyes had the strangest look to them tonight, kind of like those people in the movie "Dune" who were hooked on that sand stuff...

LMAO!!!! Difference is, her "spice melange" is spelled v-i-c-o-d-i-n.....;-)

my 10 year old daughter, who is very naive, said Paula is acting weird. Do you think she is drinking? This from a child who has never seen a drunk person or one who has been drinking in her life.

Good show last night. :) I had to watch it late and then went to bed right after so I missed the thread. :( I agree with all the ones voted off. And I hope Taylor picks his performance up a couple of notches. He needs to.

I stil think the girls are stronger than the guys, but you make a good point.

I just found it interesting.

MY wife and I just sat there open mouthed as Ryan tried to save the moment at one point, but the deer in the headlights look he had when she went totally braindead said it all. Plus you could see the pained looks on both Randy and Simon's faces. Thay all know it is over, the question is when do they admit it and pull the plug on her.

I was thinking the same thing as I watched last night. She better straighten up or her days on the show will be limited. Depending on who they replace her with, could be detrimental to the show. As an aside, we had skating with celebs on in the other room and when I went to go change the channel, I noticed that Dorothy Hamill acted a lot like Paula.

Paula was obviously trashed to the max tonight. She was making statements about corn flakes and just spouting total gibberish. Her eyes were glassy, she was swaying back and forth, the whole shooting match. It was extremely painful to watch.

Yeah, that corn flakes thing was weird. I think that was why Ryan spent so much time repeating his questions to the contestants, he couldn't get a decent response from Paula and by repeating the question the camera didn't have to pan the judges (Paula).

Maybe she's throwing the gig like Katherine is doing.... : )

LOL I almost asked if that were possible, Tuesday night. Would there be a reason to throw it at this stage though?

Missed on both the guys, but I can't say I'm disappointed that Sway and David are gone.

Now they need to get rid of Pee Wee next week. Nothing against him personally, but he just doesn't belong in the Top 12. Bucky or Wonder Years will probably join him.

For the girls, Kinnik will most likely be gone this time next week. After her, the only other girl that I think is vulnerable is Melissa, even though I really like her voice.

Good morning :)

I hope Taylor picks his performance up a couple of notches. He needs to.

He really does. No more of this soft "easy listening" stuff. Sing Ray Charles! That's what we're all waiting for :)

Thanks guys. I didn't just go to sleep, I completely passed out. My husband said that sometime during the night one of the cats used my body as a launch pad to get off the bed and I didn't wake up at. LOL!

It was a Paula we usually see later in the season. She said something about the girls who were up there were there because one ate salad and one ate pizza. Figure that one out.

If it were top 12 top she would have been dancing like a drunk sorority girl and saying things like, "You took that song and made it your own! You are a star!"
