What I dislike about Paula is that she thinks everyone is above average and rarely, if ever, tells someone they weren't good enough. I rarely pay attention to the content of her comments because she does nothing but praise no matter how bad they are.

You just need to learn how to interpret "Paulaese". Then you only have to completely discount the comments to the contestants she wants to sleep with (or is sleeping with).

What the hell is it then? When she talks I end up watching her mouth to see why its happening. It sure sounds like a lisp. Whatever it is, it is worse than Kevin's. I liked Tremors, too, but that's when I noticed how bad it really is. Can't even watch her show because of it.

They should have the woman who plays Barbara Jean do it, but only if she does it in the Barbara Jean character. She is sooo funny to me!

Well I really like her music. I'm just not crazy about her acting, and I don't think I'd care for her as a judge, but I'll say this, she'd probably be more up front with her critiquing instead of all the hearts and flowers from Paula:) I think Paula is just tender hearted and tries (too hard) to soften the blows.
I've heard her tell contestants they weren't all that good, she just does it (too:) tactfully.

Did you see "Barbara Jean"s tribute to Reba on that award show (can't remember which one).

She's a riot, and obviously a close friend of Reba's.
It was the funniest, best tribute ever.

Okay...I have a confession...I NEVER remember the names of songs..or the singers.

I hear a song and like it...but couldn't tell you anything else.

Luckily, the one station I listen to has no DJ's BUT they post on their website the names of songs and who sings them every hour....so I can check.

I am making a list of the ones I like..and my husband burns a CD for me.

As for Beautiful...I have no clue, RK!!

We could write a Paula dictionary.

"You look fabulous!"= You sucked
"You look stunning!"= Pack your bags, loser
"You're a star! I just love you!"= You suck so bad I can't even find the right words to describe it.

Last season I remember Carrie hit one out of the park. She sounded and looked amazing. Paula did not get up and dance like she had done to a few other performances that night, she did not smile during her remarks, and said, "I don't think this was your best performance. You hit a few bad notes. It was just okay." In Paulaese= "I'm so jealous that I've gone as green as Frankenstein's wife."

Well, being a mom herself, she wouldn't pull any punches, but she'd probably be sweet and funny about it.
