(Chris) Are we going to be getting this every night until the finals ?Eventually, AI will have a theme night where Chris won't be able to find an alternative-rock version of a particular song (like showtunes). As much as I liked his performance last night, his style is getting to be less of a surprise each week.

I read he sang rock in some bars, and just accidently fell into country. Even then he tried other stuff under a different name. I can't remember what he went by, but it was dark creepy stuff.

I do agree that Chris is being pimped to win.Go back and watch your TiVo of the show. Nobody else got that kind of stage production. Look at the lighting. Look at the screen behind him. Everyone else just got a big close-up of their own face behind them...Chris gets the light show etc... This happened last week as well.
Don't get me wrong...I like Chris. He's really talented, and definitely one of the top 2, but I don't think the show's producers are giving everyone a fair shake...which stinks. I also think they underestimate the general public's ability to spot their marketing ploys.
