I meant to ask before. What is your favorite musical? Favorite song from a musical? (anyone can chime in if they want)
It's hard to pick just one. I think West Side Story, Grease and Chicago are my favorites. "America" is my fav from WSS, "The One I Want" from Grease, and "Cell Block Tango" from Chicago.
Honorable mention goes to "Bali High" from South Pacific.

My favorite individual song from a musical is 'The Soliloquy' from Carousel.
My favorite musical of all time is "Sweeney Todd." Very dark but wow, some amazing songs and you'll never be bored! But I also like "Oklahoma," "Carousel," etc. I *hate* "Paint Your Wagon" and the screen versions of "Guys and Dolls" and "South Pacific." Marlon Brando was just pathetic as Sky Masterson.
