Barry is right....Lisa has a great powerful voice....I liked her the first time I heard her...thought she would go to the very top.
Mandesa shouldn't be in the competetion in my opinion...she sings backup for many famous poeople already....faith hill, etc. She's already a professional....not fair. She should be OUT.

"I wonder how Paula feels when most of the females are a hundred times better than she ever was."
That is pretty harsh. Paula did very well for the late 80s / early 90s and she's far better looking than the other so-called diva's out there. Look at how Mariah and Madonna and others have aged. Paula is actually getting better looking, as time goes on. I can't think of many female singers from that era who wouldn't want to be Paula right now. Most have long, long since faded into obscurity.

I agree with all of your choices. Those would be my top three also.

I would say another bottom 3 performance...but I have never been a fan of her.

Lisa said she was with a professional theater company doing The Lion King, too. I am agreeing with the others that this years people are a bit TOO professional.

Randy to Lisa: "It was just a'ight."
Paula: "You look adorable." (pack your bags, Lisa)
Simon: "It was okay. I feel like I'm trapped in some high school musical."

Yeah...I don't think it's fair she's in the competition:
Born and raised in Citrus Heights, CA, Mandisa moved to Nashville to study singing at Fisk University. She has performed with such artists as Shania Twain, Trisha Yearwood, Faith Hill and Charlie Daniels.

Substitute Paris for Taylor and you've got a decent ticket.

Okay...now that is something I missed...that Mandisa sings backup for Faith Hill???
That is more than Taylor...but less than Paris..in the "connected" contest, IMHO.
