Never seen her before in my life. But according to the pictures name melissa mcghee is her name, so I'm guessing that is it.

Thanks.

But I don't see these superficial voters going for a female Rueben.

You keep catching me in wishful thinking/singing ability aalysis instead of audience analysis.

You are right. A big dude is a teddy bear. A big woman is a Big Mama.

I think Carrie#2 is #3. But I think America will acquit itself by keeping Mandasa around until 4.

Post show tonight, Tradesports still has Chris, Katherine and Talyor on top. Mandisa is 4th.

Looks like Kevin is now on the bottom right now.

So I actually did a pretty good job of my evaluation :)

I am not looking forward to choosing between Chris and Taylor. But my heart says Taylor.

Katherine has the most potential and is the easiest on the eyes and ears.

I agree with the earlier poster who thought she resembled Linda Ronstadt. I would just add that see does have the look of a very young Linda Ronstadt, because lately Linda looks more like Hugo Chavez than Katherine McPhee.

From what I understand VFTW voted for Carrie as some point, well, jokes on them! lol

I spent two hours voting for Kevin and I did so because I liked the song and felt he did a decent job with it.

If Taylor had been at risk of getting voted off, I'd have voted for Taylor.

Last week I voted for Kevin and Melissa.

I vote for who I would buy CDs of. I bought a Dianna DeGarmo CD and 3 of Carrie's. I copy them to my computer then write Any Soldier.com on them in indelible ink and put them in care packages that get sent to soldiers. (sent about 300 so far)

If Kevin wasn't in there, well my votes would go to Mandisa and Taylor probably.

Fantasia was in the bottom 3 several times. I still think if Latoya London had been there, she would have won it. She was a victim of "you're too good, I don't need to vote for you" syndrom.

Meant to comment on this. I agree with you. I can't stand fantasia, and I really liked Latoya. Fantasia did good with 'Summertime', but other than that, she just screached a lot. imo

Do you think Simon will say something good about Kevin next week, so that Keving won't get the 'eympathy' vote? He was mean to Melissa, telling her to get a plane ticket home, two weeks ago. I thought he was wrong so I voted for her. Last week he was nice, and she messed up her lyrics and was sent home.

Just wondered what you thought.

Yeah, the last couple of weeks are going to be rough. I lean towards Taylor, too.

I was hoping Chicken Little would get voted off.

His new attitude alone is enough to get him booted.

He really ticked me off on Tues. night. He was acting like a real ass!

he's probably cute...but HE CAN'T SING!!

LOL. You sound like an Andy Griffith episode. Barney is good, kind decent, but he can't sing. I love him, but he can't sing. Not a lick.. :)

I think Simon does that intentionally; he's no fool. I also think he's the most valuable judge for the contestants. I thought he saved the great talents Mandesa and Taylor with the meanness early on.

To survive, they're all going to have to be tough, live with criticism, and respond to suggestions that are helpful. Simon's there to see if they can handle stardom.

This week was excruciating. We went through some of the recordings of earlier weeks, and almost all of the singers were better off without the "help" they got this week. I may never listen to Stevie Wonder again.

I hope Kellie goes back to being Kellie, Elliot gets some of the votes of people who had been voted off, and Taylor and Mandesa keep shining. The others....I'm not sure they're as good as we think; they just don't have competition in their specialties on the show.

I still miss Gideon....hearing him do Stavie Wonder would've been fun.
