Pittsburgh vs. Indianapolis 1:00 PM EST
Carolina vs. Chicago 4:30 PM EST
And who's responsible for the camera work on that kickoff return?
Or in a football line: Ernest Byner fumbling at the one yard line, sending the Broncos to the Super Bowl.
Thanks Ernest!
Yeah, well. You guys would rather join the Manning is a Choker Fan Club, than admit what the real problem was.
Carolina is just more balanced and their defense is also pretty darned good.
I'd go Stillers, but tease the under.
I agree.
We all have our fond memories!
Dwight and The Catch for me.
Yeah, that "down on the field" view sucks. Can't see anything.
It takes time for things to start to click at the NFL level. For some guys it never does.
Montana was so damn calm on that play.
What's up with those two blow up things in Indy that are like 20 feet tall? Maybe PM should have thrown to one of them on the last play.
That WAS a great Catch!
I remember "The Drive" (I sure miss Elway)
Is it just my racism seeping through or is this dude Eugene Robinson awfully weak in the booth?
I like both home teams next week (Denver and Seattle)...but then, I'm conventional. And I'm a western guy anyway.
Not me. I don't think Manning is a choker at all. In college, he lost to teams that were better coached. Spurrier had Fulmer's number for a long time and it took a while for Fulmer to overcome that. Of course, having a backfield of Jamal Lewis, Travis Henry and Travis Stephens helped out a lot.
With the Colts, the Patriots have been the better team until this year. It doesn't make Manning a choker if his team loses to a team as talented and as well coached as the Patriots. It's not like any other team has been beating them either.
The problem is that a QB should never say anything negative toward his offensive line in any way. The line sucked today, but Manning needs to find another way to say it.
"Touchdown...Mark Jackson!"
Throw the flag on Delhomme for hitting the ref in the arm.
Hey now, no need for that.
