He didn't just miss that field goal. He pretty much did the baseball equivalent of a wild pitch. Sort of like if the pitcher wound up and threw the ball into the stands over the third base dugout.
That's the kind of play that takes you from the Hall of Fame into Scott Norwood territory. Absolutely unreal finish to a wild, wild game.
