Just wondering what truly annoys freepers or drives you nuts?
Besides Democrats, Trolls and Idiots.
Idiot drivers in the left lane ahead of me who can't figure out the Green Arrow pointing left means you can turn left even if the other light is Red.
Sloppy Joes. I HATE the sight and smell of them which is why I couldn't wait to get out of high school. I hated even hanging around my high school after classes were over because that Sloppy Joe smell would linger in the hallways. I hate Sloppy Joes so much that I can't even stand to look at the cans of Sloppy Joe in the supermarket.
Also the words "portion", "meal", and "panties" really unnerve me.
"Aidan" is a traditional and legitimate Christian name for boys. I'm guessing "Aiden" and "Aden" are just misspellings done by people who aren't even aware of the saint's name. Then there's "Kaden," which is just adding a meaningless "k" sound to the front.
Names should be meaningful (e.g., an apostle, a saint, an honored ancestor or baptismal sponsor), not just a collection of sounds.
...broadcast from stadiums with corporate names like the Fedex Stadium. Also I hate when stadiums keep changing their names with each new owner. I can't even remember what Dolphins Stadium is called anymore. I, like most other folks down here, continue to call it Dolphins Stadium.
As a corollary, those that leave their cart on one side of the isle and stand beside it, effectively blocking the isle, while they read from one package after another.
You know I was out hunting the other day...and came across some useless posts. Yeah! About 10 of them...just lined up in a row...doing nothing, no wire strung, no nothing. Really pissed me off.....
If you don't have a pen, go inside.
If you don't have a deposit slip, go inside.
If you are not ready, go inside.
OUCH.
The Sox changed the name of their stadium from the historic "Comiskey Park" to "U.S. Cellular Field." I call it, "U.S. Sell-your-soul Field."
When the drunk rowdy fans there get out of control, I call it, "U.S. Cell Block Field."
Maybe because we hear NOTHING BUT male bashing in the media or in the "real world?"
Those are two really good ones. Nicely done.
The word "cinnamon." For some reason I just can't pronounce it. Oh, and also the word, "particularly." Another word I have problems pronouncing.
I believe that's the common British pronounciation.
What about people who don't group the digits of their phone number as three-three-four?
WTF?
Using all three in the same sentence would unnerve me.
The fact that almost every Korean I know is named "Kim." What? They couldn't figure out other names for Koreans? Anyway, it is VERY CONFUSING. I figure that 3/4 of the Seoul telephone directory is nothing but "Kim" listings.
I have no peeves.....
I try to keep on the sunny side
There's a dark & a troubled side of life
There's a bright, there's a sunny side, too
Tho' we meet with the darkness and strife
The sunny side we also may view
[cho:] Keep on the sunny side, always on the sunny side,
Keep on the sunny side of life
It will help us ev'ry day, it will brighten all the way
If we'll keep on the sunny side of life
The storm and its fury broke today,
Crushing hopes that we cherish so dear;
Clouds and storms will, in time, pass away
The sun again will shine bright and clear.
Let us greet with the song of hope each day
Tho' the moment be cloudy or fair
Let us trust in our Saviour away
Who keepeth everyone in His care
Well, this won't be very popular, but I absolutely hate IBTZ and IBTP.
Sheesh, people, say something. Pretend this is Family Feud: there is no gain in being first if you have nothing to say.
How bout that?
