Images from the battle for Monrovia, Liberia, where use of iron sights is known to be strictly prohibited. Also prohibited are aiming, assuming a supported firing stance, and any common practice of marksmanship whatsoever. Hip-Hop/Rapper/Gangsta shooting stances are mandatory, the "Glock Foh-Tay" hold being the most popular. lethality is acheived by subjecting the target to a wide swathe of area fire, simliar to unaimed indirect artillery, or scaring the enemy away with gesturing and aggressive hip-hop style dancing while firing. Points are awarded for artistic effort, style, fearsome facial expression/vocalizations and blue duct tape.
Note perfectly executed flamboyant sideways-rifle "Glock Foh-Tay" running stance.
Amazing height and style on this one. Sure to impress the judges!
"Yo Yo YO, Fo' Shizzle"
Here we have a classic! The "prone Warrior " firing position - too bad the magazine spring has blown out from the bottom of his beautifully blue-duct-tape-taped jungle magazine setup.
This pair is executing the difficult "Phat Bammer Swagger" shooting stance
The Phat "Batman Begins" RPG firing position is new but hot.
While this appears to be a well-rehearsed combat assault maneuver, this militiaman is actually trying to keep birds from crapping on his car. Note the feather duster in the left hand for effect.
Easily the funniest thing yet today. Reminds me of the first season of Sopranos when Christopher's friend is jacking the truck and tells the gangsta with him to turn the gun straight up and down...
Always cracks me up.

Kill whitey.
Me and a couple of my shooting partners tried it at the range one day and couldn't hit squat.
I can't hit much holding a pistol sideways. I had a email with a pic of a glock with the iron sights mounted on the right side of the slide for shooting "gangsta style". If I can find it I'll post it.
GOOGLE'd for Birdman Weapons Systems (offering "unfriendly products for an unfriendly world"), and they aren't posting any more.
There is a copy at http://www.thegunzone.com/glock/glock-gag.html.
I'm not HMTL savy enough to post the picture of it.
That is a laugh. I wonder if they ever hit anything. Could you download some of those please?? I tried shooting "gangsta" style on a range a few years ago. I didn't hit anything at all.
this is not funny, it is sad.
"this is not funny, it is sad."
It is funny to most people that have been in combat, or at least have been properly trained to use firearms. If you've never been a warrior for this country, or trained yourself to safely and correctly handle firearms to protect yourself, and/or family....then that is what's really sad.
You are right. I understand your point. My dh has done all you have mentioned regarding proper training and handling. It's a female thing to respond this way. For me anyway. I'm not the combat type.
respectfully,
Gal
Ooops.... I didn't realize I was posting to a lady. Pardon me, ma'am.
I am reminded of an incident nearly 20 years ago when I lived in an apartment complex that had turned ghetto. We were having trouble from one of the drug dealers who didnt like having a white couple living in his neighborhood. He had been trying to intimidate us whenever he saw us:
He was in the parking lot flashing a 9mm automatic. I was heading for the range so I invited him to go along.
Yea Ill show you how to shoot!
Right. I had been on an Army Combat Handgun Marksmanship team. I stayed in practice. I set the targets at fifty feet. All my rounds were dead center, he never even hit the paper.
Must be something wrong with my gun.
He was trying to hit the target TV style holding it over his head and sideways, pointing it in the general direction of the target. I told him Id check it out for him. It was a Browning Hi-Power, a pretty good weapon. I fired off a magazine in rapid fire and all hit dead center.
I offered to teach him how to shoot. He suddenly remembered an important appointment he had.
After that he would hand me a beer and call me sir every time he saw me.
Bump...
