And if you sort by 24 hour or 7 day change, we're in the top 4. Only one other team is genuinely making faster progress, SISD. The other teams are doing like 2-3k points a day and passing up all the chumps 1500 or higher.

Hmmm... It just served me up a WU that is now estimated to finish on MARCH 6th... What's up with that? :)

Hmmm... It just served me up a WU that is now estimated to finish on MARCH 6th... What's up with that? :) As I understand it, that's just a faulty estime based upon a first guess...Give it a half hour and you should see a true estimate.

Daus,
That happens when you first get a WU. It will take is from 30-120 minutes to settle in and give a good date. Depending on your machine, it's going to be 24 hours to up to 4-5 days.
Systematic, perhaps in your "about" folding post, you can add this one? I see this question asked by all the new folks coming on. Quite discouraging.

I just finished my 4th unit a couple of minutes ago, starting on my 5th now.
That's what it's all about... slow and steady progress.

That tells you how well I have been paying attention. I've already got 8 WU's in and that the first time I actually read the estimate. :)

Indeed, if this had gotten off the ground in November, there'd be a LOT of broke Freepers (or, rather, Freeper spouses). :-)
Dang, it's hard to be prudent, to wait and see what taxes are like.

Dang, it's hard to be prudent, to wait and see what taxes are like.Always Buy NOW... you'll be obsolete that much quicker. But don't tell that to the one who holds the checkbook.
Call it an "investment"... yeah, that'll work. :)

Democrats will call even the tiniest decrease in the rate of spending a "cut", a "gutting", an intent to starve all kids and elderly. Not surprising they'd apply the same creative math to other areas.

Dang, it's hard to be prudent, to wait and see what taxes are like. Shudder...gonna get hit hard with the AMT this year. From a thread on Fatwallet...
Who Will Pay the AMT in 2005?
17% of taxpayers earning between $75,000 and $100,000 (barf me out!)
39% of those earning between $100,000 and $200,000
78% of those earning between $200,000 and $500,000
To keep on topic, my other box successfully uploaded its first WU.

*brrrrrr* It's scary what the government defines as "rich", isn't it! A family on 75K... that's barely over lower-middle class. Sorry to hear that. :-(

How do I know I did it correctly? All I see on my desktop is a log icon and a client icon. Should there be something else?
