One of my writing groups is using the following sentence fragment as a writing exercise:

It was cold now, and I saw the snow beginning to ...

The image of a Michigan lakeshore in winter and a long white mink coat popped into my mind when I read that, and has been in my mind ever since!

DANG Girl!! That's just...luxurious! I myself would prefer a sleek, dark brown, almost black,just below the knee, mink. ;o) Of course, I'd settle for a knee length black leather coat similar to what Aragorn wore.
