Oprah, Dave. Dave, Oprah.
The cold war between television titans Oprah Winfrey and David Letterman has thawed to the point where Winfrey has accepted Letterman's invitation to appear on the "Late Show" on Dec. 1.

I'd be more impressed if Dave would marry his son's mother, so the kid wouldn't be a bastard....C'mon, Dave, do the right thing!
Who knew they were even fighting? Only the 2 pm chocolate eating couch potatoes.
Has Oprah done a show yet where she walks on water and makes the blind see again?
There's no accounting for taste. Mr. Hankey lives. ;)
I don't watch either show. I never cease to be amazed at what people think is important.
He should never have made up with Dr. Phil. His "This guy is crazy" bits were a riot.
I don't think we really talk that way about children any more, and most would not even ~think~ that about a child... C'mon, clintonh8r, do the right thing! Drop the bastard thing.
Must see Late Night TV ended when Johnny Carson retired.
They did get married.
Dr. Phil gives me the creeps.
Really? I missed that.
One thing I love to do with Entertainment Tonight type idiots who know everything about everyone and all the current affairs of the Hollywood crowd is ask them a simple question...
Who is your congressman?
99 out of a 100 times they do not know. Further reinforces the knowledge that that person is a total and complete moron.
Never heard about it, I guess I'm out of the loop. "G"
Oh, friend, Dave LOVES, I mean loves Oprah. He's been hurt for years that she wouldn't do his show. I plan to watch!
Hmm, needs calibrating ...
We TIVO Dave and watch it the next day.
He's milking this non-event for all the airtime he can get, and it's hilarious. I mean, who cares about Oprah?
Dave knows that Oprah is a fraud, and she's scared to death of him and what he could do to her if he gets her in that seat, but she's still the most powerful woman on TV and Dave wants a piece of that. She's more powerful than Johnny was at his peak.
Dave had a huge picture of her behind him when he made the announcement that she'll be on the show, and then he and Paul riffed on the alleged feud, her greatness, and whether she'll cancel when she sees how they treat her even before she gets there.
She's promoting a Broadway show across the street from the Ed Sullivan Theater, and Dave knows this whole thing is good for the Great White Way.
