Weee! This has been one rough week. But, hey, we got a new Supreme court nominee *AND* I just found out Mrs. BJClinton is expecting. That's right folks, there's another smart-a** on the way. Alrighty, enough about me, let the silliness begin!

Yeah, piers. Nope, these are caissons. I worked a bunch as afield engineeer. I need to make sure the slurry is good, rebar is set, and check tremie concrete levels after each of the 30 truckloads is poured. At a cost of $55 a minute, you want to get the stuff done quickly!
it's amazing how much bentonite slurry can stick to a 150' fiberglass tape when you are cranking it back in as fast as possible.
