I just thought that it might be neat if willing freepers would post a screenshot of their desktop. Try to scale the images to a height of no more than 700 pixels..

i've tried DSL but thought it was too basic, there has got to be a middle ground between 4cd mega distros and 50meg micro distros.
i'll give puppy a try, that tooks interesting. who knows, maybe this will be the one.

Yeah, but I hate tabbed browsing. I don't know why, it just never caught on with me. I have the instinct to go to the bottom of the screen to change tasks, and in my mind, a different open web page is a different task, even if it's just two threads on FR. It works for me.

I have the instinct to go to the bottom of the screen to change tasks With an extension called Tabbrowser Extensions, you can specify that the tabs be located at the bottom of the screen. Just a thought.

I realize how goofy my method is, but I like it. I will make a note of that option and give it a try. I use the bottom tabs in OpenOffice calc, so maybe.
