It was a good movie, I'm not sure twice was enough. I'm Rosie's roommate, I was off partying last night so I didn't see the thread. (Partying: playing an RPG with three geeks. Fun but....)
Nice thread you've got here...
I've never seen Napoleon Dynamite, but it seems like everyone has. I can relate to the gal in "Just Like Heaven," that's why I want to see it.
Only I'm not a girl. Or a nurse. And I've never been hit by a car. But other than that, I can relate.
"I'm like 99.9% parched here. I could really use a COla."
WATER!
Wow, that's really cool! I didn't know you guys were roommates.
You're lucky; the ladies across the hall from me are always fighting, and then their drunk boyfriends show up and it's a real good time when you're trying to sleep (we're a little deficient on the law-enforcement side here).
That again? I've already forced seven glasses down today.
Well.... I guess ONE Cola wouldn't hurt......Then again... How many Colas have you had today?
No worries! I have my priorities straight! LOL
MM
If either of us ever have a drunk boyfriend the other will tell all our Hobbit Hole buddies. You know how some couples have met on FR? Well, Rosie and I became friends on FR and now we're roomies. It works.
I don't pick fights with her because her cats would eat me.
None. Cranberry juice and water.
Napoleon Dynamite seems to be a movie you either really like, or just don't get. Strong feelings on both sides.
The humor is really odd and completely deadpan, for one.
But I really liked it.
My cats wouldn't care as long as they were still properly fed. I take it back, they would care because no one would spoil them like me.
My cats? Those sweet innocent little creatures?
OK, so Tam is a *bit* evil, but I don't think he'd actually EAT anyone.
He's too picky for that...
Good man!
Are you guys in the same room typing to each other?
What...there's something odd about that?
Ha ha ha!
Um, yeah. More or less. I could take my laptop into my bedroom if it makes you feel better, I have a wireless network for us.
I seem to recall some guys I worked with doing that at work one holiday season. It was really, really, really slow (between Christmas and New Year's), so we were watching movies and such between phone calls.
It did match up in a weird sort of way, but I don't remember the details.
No, I just got this funny picture of two girls sitting in dead silence typing right next to each other.
