One of my novel's characters has a psionic ability. If that is what you mean.

That's part of it. I might include things like UFO's and the like. In many of my games, I have one character who survived the fall of Atlantis 10,000 years ago (he has ways to keep from aging, and in reversing the aging process but he is still mortal to where he can still die from being shot) by winking into a parallel dimension where time goes backwards. He goes to another dimension that will heal him but he can still die if he doesn't make it in time. I named him "Malanthius" and he is just an observer of history and human nature. He is quite despondent and saddened at seeing the fall of humanity a second time but he still keeps to himself in his huge bunker loaded with many artifacts from ancient history to modern times, word has it that his favorite TV shows are "Gilligan's Island" and "CBS Survivor" although he has a huge media colelction from the dawn of radio until "The Oops" that ended our civilization. B-) He also likes to breed Burmese cats and has a huge collection of cars. I got the name from one caller to local Pittsburgh talkshows who claims to be an alien so I took his name, "Malanthius," as a tribute to him as well as it being a cool sounding name. B-) I've always had him in my Twilight: 2000 games, Gamma World, Dungeons and Dragons, Morrow Project and so on.

Well, people tell me I'm spoiled as soon as they meet me and find that out, no matter what. My parents are still married. Actually, though, I'm at the age now where Mom and Dad don't buy me just anything anymore. I try to buy stuff myself, but I usually don't have the money, and when I do, I know it's best to save (new cars don't pay for themselves).

Sure, count me in too.

Very interesting. I really only use fusion for big things like warships in my story(s) but it does sound like an awesome game. Does this thing have mechs?

Cool :) Miya (a character I initially developed for Heavy Gear) has powerful psi abilities. She can predict enemy movement and even put enemies in a hallucinegenic (sp?) state that causes them to turn against eachother. Her power develops as the story moves along and she eventually gains the ability to do direct damage and kill with this capability. Abilities like this are very rare in my stories (1 in 600 million).

Not really, unless the PD so desires, but we have something close in the canon game called the HAMM Suit. Can't remember what HAMM stands for, they are not seen too much, but basically they are armor that is power assisted so the team member can lift heavy items and/or carry heavier weapons. The best I can come up with is lead minatures to illustrate the HAMM Suit.

These came put in 1982, to see all of them, go to http://www.thesupplybunker.net/history-3.htm

Cool. The Marine Force Recon in my story uses suits like that. Not quite a mech but not quite a simple soldier either. My versions have jump jet packs for leaping over gaps or walls (they don't give full flight like jet packs do).

Im here, too.

I use fusion in my story, as the basis for the doomsday weapon, which is a hydrogen 20mt. device, that has it's yield "multiplied", by a device I invented(in my head), called a "neutron multiplier". Basically, how the neutron multiplier works is like this:: A conventional nuclear device has most of the external shielding removed, and the neutron multiplier ring is placed around it. The package is then re-shielded, and is then ready for arming. Upon detonation, the multiplier causes a sub-microsecond delay of the nuclear detonation, and in doing so, it causes virtually all of the atoms of the nuclear fuel to enter the chain reaction, thereby multiplying the yield by roughly 2000 times.(Pretty cool, for something I thought up,driving home from church one evening).

In the story, this technology is STRICTLY meant to be used as part of the space-defense system, as a "fast response" defense against asteroids, that may somehow evade the starshield field, but then, the technology falls into the hands of Arab-based, anti-nuclear terrorists, bent on forcing nuclear disarmanent of the superpowers.

Very cool :)

I have pure fusion devices in my story. Triggered by lasers inside the bomb. The power for these lasers are provided rapid-discharge capacitors that are charged up prior to bomb launch. The yield is adjusted prior to bomb launch but has a minimum of 1.5 kilotons to 30 Megatons.
