We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
Louisiana is preparing for an epic legal struggle as tens of thousands of homeowners there will soon discover their insurance policies won't cover rebuilding as floods are not covered. Moreover, Federal flood insurance only covers losses up to $250,000.
Otherwise, recovery from KATRINA continues.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
Umm...Don baby do you remember this??:

How about another city...Chicago....1995 report focused attention on heat's real dangers..The July 1995 heat wave, which was blamed for 465 heat-related deaths in Chicago and another 85 in Milwaukee helped focus attention on the real danger of heat. Hmmm...no mention of x42...
lol......he was great, wasn't he??
Looks like the thread is dead. I'm just waving hi and good night. :)
It is cool here in Utah. Snowed in the high Uintas, and was 58 degrees at 8:30 pm this evening. The sun goes down and it gets really cool.
I'm just going to go with the flow and see where the Lord takes me on this journey. It's not like I HAVE to be anywhere until the first weekend in October.

Prayers lifted for a smoother path.

FReep. What else? :-)
But not as much as I used to.
((Kay)), you WILL w/God's help get through this trying time.
Today, the questioning part of the the Judge Roberts "trial" begins. It is ironic imo that senators of infinitely less ability will be questioning this man of PROVEN ability.
In a perfect world. even after the public's voting, the senators themselves should undergo a rigorous hearing to test their own qualifications before they are allowed to assume office.
Who, then, would do the questioning? I'd like to see a panel of knowledgeable Freepers do it! (Still dreaming and not quite awake. LOL)

It would be great if we could declare war on liberal propaganda....that's their one remaining power.
We need a plan.
Interesting news from Japan - from today's WSJ..
----
Fortune favors the bold, and on Sunday it smiled broadly on Junichiro Koizumi. Japan's Prime Minister won a stunning victory in snap elections because he stood on principle and called the vote after a reform dear to him, post office privatization, was blocked by the upper house of Parliament. The electorate rewarded him for trusting them.
Mr. Koizumi's governing coalition now holds more than the two-thirds majority it needs to override further upper house intransigence. The unexpectedly large victory means that Japan's voters have endorsed Mr. Koizumi's policy mix of smaller government and an activist foreign policy. The economic paternalism and diplomatic timidity of the post-World War II era are giving way to change. The Bush Administration can also be pleased by this victory for another one of its Iraq War allies. The opposition's promise to have the troops home by Christmas carried little weight with voters.
Mr. Koizumi says he wants Japan to become a "normal country," economically, militarily, culturally and in foreign policy. For decades, academics and diplomats have lauded the "Japanese Way" of minimal political debate and even more miniature returns on bank deposits, a combination that gave politicians money to throw at "champion" industries and companies.
Derisive laughter is as good as Fact Bullets imo to destroy agenda-driven stupidities. (I'm in attack mode today.)
Good morning everyone.
Good morning.
Today JT is having his final PT test. Pray for him but especially for his push-ups. He wants to max those out and get a 300 on the PT.
The youngest had a root canal yesterday. Just afterward she was saying, "I feel fine," but by suppertime she was admitting, "I don't feel fine." She had soup last night.
Good Morning. Waiting for the caffiene to kick in.
Good Morning you two. We must have all hit the post button at the same time.
Jem, I hope the youngest bounces back quickly.
I hope she doesn't bounce back too quickly.
Good morning! I have a marathon day today...watch the youngest all day, then all three, take all three to the oldest's socer practice, then a class I am taking. WhenI leave here, I won't be home until 8:30 PM. I will definitely be trying to sleep in tomorrow morning!
Good morning to you. Get a good breakfast, take a deep, deep breath and good luck! That made me tired just reading about it! We'll see you tomorrow afternoon when you recover.
