Actor Brosnan says Bush 'has a lot to answer for' Sep 06 3:50 AM US/Eastern
By Shiraz Sidhva
DEAUVILLE, France (Hollywood Reporter) - Pierce Brosnan was the only big star on hand as the Deauville Festival of American Cinema got off to a quiet start over the weekend, and he took advantage of the spotlight to blast the Bush administration's handling of the carnage caused by Hurricane Katrina.
"This man called President Bush has a lot to answer for," the former James Bond actor told reporters Saturday. "I don't know if this man is really taking care of America. This government has been shameful."
Brosnan was in the northern coastal resort promoting the black comedy "The Matador," which opened the festival Friday. The event was overshadowed by the weightier Venice International Film Festival, which runs almost parallel to it.

Pierce Brosnan is fine on the eyes... too bad he says such stupid stuff. LOL... that is exactly what I was thinking. I really liked ths guy (his acting and looks) and then he has to open his mouth, what a disapointment.

The coverage they get over there likely is Reuters and AP, maybe CNN International. I've seen stories in the blogosphere from all three and all were seriously biased and factually flawed. All failed to have an awareness of the constitutionally-defined role of the federal government in disasters (it doesn't have one, really), and all published stories constructed upon that perhaps deliberate ignorance. Pierce is likely a lightheaded, prancing goose celebrity whose knowledge of the law does not approach what an ordinary U.S. citizen should know.
It is so true: if he'd keep his mouth shut, he'd at least seem intelligent sometimes.

This guy just 'acts' like he is cool and fights bad guys. Maybe he doesn't know that James Bond is 'fictious???' In real life, he is just another wussy leftist who whines but rarely even does anything of real value to help anybody.
