He says Gov Blanco was unprepared, Bush was slow, and Chertoff was a disaster and must be canned. And Bill's a big mouth who knows how to do everything right after teh fact.....except when it comes to sexually harassing women!

I jsut saw "The O'Reilly Factor" on television. In his "Talking Points" segment, he effectively trashed the Bush-hating leftists who have said that Bush is personally responsible for the deaths in New Orleans. It was an excellent commentary and analysis.
O'Relly is right about this too. Chertoff should resign.

BOR is a fraud. Nothing even remotely conservative about him.
BTW--he's an idiot as well.

Bill was the ultimate blowhard today. He scoffed at FEMA and Bush for assuming that 8,500 NG and police that Blanco had available to keep NO (a city of 1.4 million he kept stating)under control. Somehow he failed to take into account that 80% of the population had left in that stupid argument alone.
Can't wait until the good talk show people get back from their long weekend tomorrow.

He may have spared the N.O. mayor because O'Reilly is a hot blow-hard like the mayor. They are both idiots.
To: churchillbuff
Bill O'Reilly didn't spare anyone - Bill O'Reilly is a grand standing arrogant AH. He actually thinks his opinion matters ... he's clueless.

O'Reilly is so three days ago. Catch a clue you egotist. You can't protect Blanco and Nagin so give it up. Bush stays, Chertoff stays, and you sink further into irrelevance.

Maybe Bill is hoping Nagin will put in a good word for him with Oprah.

On the Radio Factor today, Bill O'Reilly didn't spare anyone
Too bad it's the typical, phony tough talk. That old cheesy tough guy routine from the 1950s is boring.
Loofahs for everybody!

I'm really starting to like the idea of Congressional hearings.
And, they need to include state and local government officials from LA, MI and AL, as well as from federal agencies.
Folks want answers? Let's go get them.

O'Reilly has obviously been watching too much of MoveOn.MSNBC ,MoveOn.CBS, MoveOn.ABC, MoveOn.CNN etc.
He might try watching FOX News for a change ( I hear it'a available most everywhere )-their reporters have been excellent.
Shep and Geraldo had their cryfests ala the Mayor of NO, but, all is forgiven.
Orlando Salinas and Steve Harrigan have been great-just the facts, no spin.

Unfortunately, O'Reilly will probably get his way. It's not fair - but it's political reality.
It's tragic because Chertoff would be an outstanding leader in the event of a 9/11-type attack. Dealing with a hurricane on the Gulf Coast is not his forte, and it's a distraction from his most critical national security duties - safeguarding the country against foreign and domestic enemies.
