I am looking to have the SS chip put on to my TV. It turns the channel whenever Shep is on.

There were times when I thought he was great and other times I wanted to slap him. He was there thru the whole thing so I'm gonna give him leeway.

Shep's regular show on Fox, is the only one on Fox that I WON'T watch. Too much like E-Entertainment TV.
I shook my head in shame, the entire time he and Whorealdo were on for a couple of days.

I think he was just overwhelmed at the end. He had been watching all that misery for days, and the city and state had no control and no one told the people where to go, I would have made a fool of myself too I think.

I like Shep. He was there in the French Quarter telling us that NOLA had dodged another bullet - before the levee breached. After that all hell broke out and Shep witnessed it - I think he got stressed out and it was understandable. I'm ready to cut him some slack.
Besides, Shep is a fan of the Yankees.

Always a wild array of opinion here.
Shep is a drama queen, no doubt about that and this time, he felt to his bone marrow, the pain he was reporting upon. It upped his ante, as it were.
I think he has a great heart, did a much needed job of demonstrating the NEED and DESPARATION of those who suffered something most of us will never fully understand so I agree with you. Of course, if he is a DEM, lol, he is missing a bit in the mental department. At any rate....
BRAVO! Takes grit to make a post like yours around this Ship bashing crowd! hehe

I admire anyone who could endure the horror that was New Orleans before, during, and after the storm.

Did anyone notice after the medics carted Shep away in a straight jacket (I'm sure they did) the guy who replaced him was a Shep look a like only about 40 pounds heavier.

Hard to believe that Shemp Smith could have a national audience with his worthless "Around his brain in 80 seconds" show.

Under the conditions at the time, Smith reported the horror that consumed N.O.
Geraldo manufactured and staged his reports from the convention center. He is an entertainer and not a journalist.

When Shep first joined FOX, I was one of the few here who thought he deserved a chance. I figured he was young, but he would mature out nicely. He didn't.
I know that I won't forget what he's done. He has caused immeasurable damage and it was uncalled for ignorance on his part and on the part of the producer who put it on day after day.

Shep Smith should win a Pulitzer
Why, because he was able to shower & shave when no one else in New Orleans could? Because he was on the air day after day in his perfectly ironed shirts becoming unhinged? Because all he did to help was shove a microphone in people's faces as they came out of the water? Sorry. I lost the little respect I had for him when I saw his performance these past few days.
