TOM CRUISE reckons he has lived before and was even more talented and successful in his previous lives.

The eccentric War Of The Worlds star told a press conference that he is "old beyond reckoning".

And despite all his wealth and fame, he believes his current life is "probably one of the least satisfying" he has led.

...his current life is "probably one of the least satisfying" he has led.

Yes, we all know what a drag it is to be rich and famous.

"I was much happier in previous existences when I wrote plays, composed music, conquered nations, discovered continents and developed cures for diseases"

He's hit the cosmic lotto, huh? Author, composer, conqueror, explorer, research scientist, and now actor. Too bad one of the maladies he supposedly cured wasn't delusion.

"I really would have preferred being a brain surgeon or a research scientist in this life."

You've already done the research gig.....remember? I know....with so many lies, it's hard to keep them straight.

Cruise, 43, told how he has known and loved his latest fiancee, Dawson's Creek star Katie Holmes, "many times in many lives before".

Yeah...but until recently, she wasn't as hot in her past couple of lives. He just had to "fill in" with Mimi Rodgers, Nicole Kidman, and Penelope Cruz. How "awful" for him.

Maybe because in his past life(s), he wasn't gay...

Exactly! No wonder there were so many wars and famines and such. Why wasn't he Bob the farmer or chamber pot emptier? Maybe that's where us 'peons' come in? We're the folks they rule, lol. He's delusional.

I'm sure she's happy to be away, but she needs to be sure her kids aren't in the cult or around when he finally implodes. I hope she's on it.

Odd to say he was happier in previous lives considering his rants about Scientology and how it is the answer to all! I loved Cruise in the movie in his underwear (can't remember the name) and rainman. Why or why can't they keep their mouths shut?! Just like that idiot Clooney-I thought he was cute and a regular guy-like a up and coming Selleck -then he opened his pie hole and now I can't stand him! Speaking of which I turned over to Letterman (yeh I know) to see what MacInroe would say about his dead stupid talk show and he said the reason it failed was that he didn't take it serious and he wanted to be home for dinner every night?!!! really that was his answer. He continued to rant on about his vacation rafting with Bobby Kennedy and said how he should run for President and asked the audience and only a handful clapped! I had to turn it off he is such a squirrel and such a name dropper. Watching the US Open every sentence he starts begins with "I"!!! Anyone else see him?

"Him and Cindy Sheehan are a match made in heaven."

EXACTLY what I was thinking! They're both loonies.
