A Texas farmer may have found what some would call a "chupacabra," a legendary animal known for sucking the blood out of goats.
COLEMAN, Texas -- A Texas farmer may have found what some would call a "chupacabra," a legendary animal known for sucking the blood out of goats.
Reggie Lagow set a trap last week after a number of his chickens and turkeys were killed.
What he found in his trap was a mix between a hairless dog, a rat and a kangaroo.
The mystery animal has been sent to Texas Parks and Wildlife in hopes of determining what it is.

2 tidbits, in case you think this is a bit wierd
Marsupial wolf (tasmanian)
Procoptodon, for example, is a 2.5 metre high creature which looks like a koala crossed with a kangaroo. Australian palaoentologists had several near complete skeletons to work from, preserved in caves during the late Pleistocene.

I think there should be amnesty for alien dogs who come here to kill farm animals that American dogs won't.

And then, after they had it in their shelter, they'd kill it.

Sam is a purebred Uh, how many TOENAILS can be counted on this pooch, anyway? Maybe that should have said INbred.

Come to think of it......Coleman is not that far from Abilene, which is not that far from Baird, Texas, either, which is where Bill Burkett of the Rathergate Memos is from; "chupacabra" is a Spanish word, and "Lucy Ramirez" is a Hispanic name......are we sure this "chupacabra" wasn't mocked up at Kinko's in Abilene?

No....this is a NEW coyote with Mange. I'm thinking that I'm glad I'm not a coyote with Mange. You're thinking of Elmendorf, Texas. This is Coleman, Texas. Happened this week.

About a year ago, our neighborhood lost over 70 goats within a couple of weeks.
They each had a hole in their neck, and one on their hindquarters....nothing else.
And none of the neighborhood dogs made a sound.

Do you think he'll pull out that take-off of, dang, that dance craze song from the mid-1990s by that Brazilian duo?
The lyrics go something like "The buggy-eyed creature they call the chupacabra...Hey, chupacabra!....we did it,
for the money, and now we think it's all pretty funny!"
I think I recorded it of the old artbell.com. I'll have to look tonight and see if I have it handy.
