I'll admit to liking sardines - King Oscar brand are the best, by far, especially the ones packed in olive oil. Great with crackers, or I like 'em with a little lemon juice, eaten straight out of the can. I love kipper snacks, too.
Now that I have a roommate...I've kinda given 'em up. No hiding the smell of the things. *sigh*
But they're healthy! No guilt on that score!

My athletic teenage daughter eats those nasty snowballs. When she bites into them I can here the squishy sound and am just grossed out.

Did you know the government lists Velveeta cheese in one of the main food groups? No kidding, it qualifies as "dairy" in your kid's lunchbox.

I have to have canned sardines about once every 3 months. Put in bowl, pour mustard over, mash up and grab some crackers. Also like canned smoked oysters the same way. I think I just decided on what to have for lunch! Have some spicy pork rinds at home may snack on them tonight but was saving them for something else. Saving spicy pork rinds for what other use you ask???. Put them in blender grind up very fine and use as a coating for fried shrimp instead of your regular coating/batter. Yummy!!!
