When the NFL finds itself in our topical crosshairs, I don't play favorites.
:snip:
That's an impressive list of castaways. But it's time to allow the true hatin' to begin:
Baltimore Ravens
The variables add up in a hurry.
Beyond the shaky details of his murder-case involvement, linebacker Ray Lewis gains points with a player-introduction dance that suggests the stun gun is a major prop in Riverdance.
Teammate Jamal Lewis has just been released from the hoosegow, which was the reward for allegedly having his cell phone used in a drug deal. The Ravens are thrilled that Jamal doesn't have a machete that some pal can borrow.
Coach Brian Billick didn't need Jamal to put the con in condescending. He can do that all by himself.
But the true measure of Raven hatred has been established by team owner Art "Runway" Modell, who dragged the franchise out of Cleveland without bothering to liberate the city of Drew Carey.

The Packer Fan
A Packer fan was enjoying himself at the game in a packed Lambeau Field, until he noticed an empty seat down in front. He went down and asked the guy next to it if he knew whose seat it was. The guy said, "Yes, that's my wife's seat. We have never missed a game since the Lombardi days, but now my wife is dead." The fan offered his sympathy and said it was really too bad he couldn't find some relative to give the ticket to and enjoy the game together. "Oh no," the guy said, "they're all at the funeral."
yup
sadly, I don't have cable
In the words of Alicia Silverstone...
WHATever!
Shorten the list to five, and include, Denver, Kansas City, San Diego, and the Forty Whiners and call it good.
You can't count on Westbrook to be a big yard receiver.
The true beauty of being a Raiders fan and a conservative is twofold:
1. You don't care what others think of you.
2. The leftist media hates you even more, and that is perfectly fine by me. (And that most of the sheeple who watch football purchase this sort of thing lock, stock, and barrell. Not unlike the average viewer of CNN)
Alas....GO RAIDERS!
Lambert Field, perhaps? Pronounced, over there, as LamBEAR Field, of course.
And no Coors, thank you very much....
*Snort* Better wait til next year, this is the year of the 'Skins! (might be the last year, too, if this Native American thing keeps up....)
Oh man, I wish I had Reggie's Hobbes graphic right now! ;o)
The writer of the article discusses today's teams ... not has-beens. Sorry, Dave, but you're weaseling out of this one.
But to answer your question ... yes, Deion played for Dallas for a short time. But he was the least of their problems during that era. Yeah, he was a showboat, but he was a heck of a player at that time. You could say that Dallas had "Prime Time" during his prime.
"... this is the year of the 'Skins! ..."
It very well could be the year of the 'Skins! However, if history is any indicator, they WILL lose two games this year and go 14-2-0. Those two games: Monday night September 19 and Sunday December 18. Guess who the Deadskins play in those two meetings?
Thanks to Curly Lambert for the namesake.
BRONCOS??!!!!!
Okay, now I HAVE to click on the link.
I never said I agreed with the writer's focus. I think it's quite silly to discuss only present players when discussing something as traditional and emotional as favorites and anti-favorites.

He was a punk who couldn't tackle. And he was an eogtistical anti-team member. He's poison, just like TO is today.
I'm just saying some franchises like that kind of thing and others enjoy decorum and the traditional team approach.
SD
Hell yeah GOP! Thats what sports is ALLL about. You stick with your team through thick and thin. When your team is down, that's okay, it just makes it that much sweeter when they get back on top baby!
Oh, that's your list.
Heretic!
hahahaah
Well no wonder I don't like the 'Boys, there's not a GATOR on the whole team!
:^)
What's my solution? Two eye patches.
hehehehehe
Well, without people who are misguided on their team choice such as yourself, how would we know who is right? LOL
Good luck this season. At least we agree about the Cowboys. :)
It's primarily a division rivaly like the Squealers (who I hate more) now that the modells were forced to sell. You guys lucked out there, avoiding having the intolerable David as an owner. The modells were reverse-Irsays in another way, the (step)son was way worse than the father.
By the way, did you know that when modell moved, he also switched parties from Republican to Democrat?
