My complete and utter apologies for their being no thread last week. I had my days so mixed up and confused that I absolutely completely and totally forgot to start one.

I'm not happy with the government my taxes are buying. ;)

But for me it's usually disappointing CDs or DVDs...some of which aren't even worth giving away.

More often for me it's junk food.

... Oh, and novacaine for patients.

Paint. I've currently got a gallon of sunburst yellow and a gallon of sky blue. My former office/den is now morphing into a play room because "the light is better", and I couldn't say "give me a gallon of sage" to the paint guy at the hardware store. I tried to weenie out on the color decision by handing it over to my wife. Now I'm faced with a two tone paint job, sponged, with a chair rail wall paper boarder in the middle.

*(pulling up to the table for the first time)*

I bought one of those "create-the-whirlpool/jacuzzi-effect-in-your-own-bathtub" units that certainly did NOT have that effect . . . it was definitely a waste of money :)

Food dehydrator.
The bananas always came out like shoe leather.

And Shrek 2 on DVD. They had one of those Buy 2 get 1 free deals at Blockbuster. So we picked up Oceans 12, Exorcist A New Beginning, and S2. We liked S1, so we figured it would be good to just buy the second without seeing it first. Now I'm stuck with it. The used store downtown won't even buy it off of me.

I heard O's12 stunk too. My husband keeps trying to watch it, but often just goes back to playing Xbox.

No. We don't go to the opera very much.

My ex-girlfriend. Nothing but a money pit, everytime I turned around there was something to be fixed, and I didn't get much on the trade-in, either.

"I had my days so mixed up and confused that I absolutely completely and totally forgot to start one."

Gabz, I specifically gave you that little "Pills by the Day" organizer so this would stop happening!

I guess then THAT'S my purchased item that's not worth a plugged nickle... ;)

On topic, my wife purchased this "roll-a-hose" that was "As seen on TV" and it was utter crap. Once you unrolled it from the spool, you would have to ensure that it returned to a completely straight and flat state before it could be re-rolled. And, of course, the fittings on either end were cheap plastic and they snapped when I left it outside in the winter.

Went to a psychologist to help me handle my daughter who had a severe speech problem (couldn't talk at all until she was 5 1/2).

My daughther was 3 and having terrible tantrums. Besides medication, the psycholigist gave me a book about opening up communication with my daughter.

Of course my daughters tantrums were related to non-communication. She couldn't talk.

Anyway, it was a total waste of time and money!!!!!!! Never went back.

Nothing in particular comes to mind, but I know for a fact that the list grows longer on December 26th of every year. Remember Hulk Hands?
