FReeper Family Table - Not Worth a Plugged Nickle
FReepers | August 5, 2005 | Gabz

Posted on 08/05/2005 5:38:19 AM PDT by Gabz

Two weeks ago we discussed those items that we can't live without, that were worth every penny we paid for them.

Let's go in the opposite direction today. We all have items we have purchased, often with high hopes for it's usefulness, that we regretted purchasing shortly after the fact.

Regale us with your stories of duds, or warn us about things not to purchase.

Nothing in particular comes to mind, but I know for a fact that the list grows longer on December 26th of every year. Remember Hulk Hands?

They really don't need alot...

Ain't that the truth! And the things they need, they need a lot of, and parents never have enough of...diapers, receiving blankets, onesies...all the things that get covered in spitup or poop on a consistent basis!

Is that the Black and Decker Handy Steamer? Mine is a million years old and I use it almost daily.

I love it because I tend to get so sidetracked that pots on my stove regularly boil dry. This way, I can fill it and forget it, and voila, rice is served! That's why I love my crock pot as well!

Yep. That's the one. Wanna buy it? It's just gathering dust in my pantry. ;)

I do love my crockpot. Couldn't live without that. Well, I actually have THREE of them...we have Green Bay Packer parties quite often and one holds chili, one keeps the brats warm and one's for baked beans or cheese-dip.

WOW, 9 months???? Where did the time go!

Evie is 13 months, and very, very active. She is all over the place! I think I liked crawling a lot better than walking, at least then I knew I could catch her!

I can't believe that Evie is 13 months!

Marlowe will probably never crawl because of her brachial plexus injury but,she does scoot everywhere. We are in the hill country, about to build a home that is really in the country, so she is eating dirt, bugs, leaves....I can't imagine if she was crawling.

Really, it seems like it was yesterday that we were both pregnant. Time sure does fly!

I know you--you're Erik! Erik the Shrubber!!!

It really is insane that nobody has chosen that screen name. This forum is loaded with die-hard Python fans. That'll probably be to your advantage--with that screen name, most FReepers are going to assume you've been around a while. We've been known to do some hazing of newcomers now and then. All in good fun, of course.
