Well, I'm in tears here....a young man, former classmate and friend of my youngest son, was senselessly killed the other night....shot in a parking lot. I remember him, and my son, who emailed me this...
Chris was another trumpet player. He was old beyond his years. I remember being impressed by his sense of duty and altruism. He had a strong Christian faith, and organized the school's Bible study. He was the section leader of the trumpets in 1999-2000. He was somebody I always wished I had gotten to know better.
He was working in a bank, active in his church, & going to the local Univ....Please keep his family in your prayers....
